The Mudiro MR50 fridge can boast a robust and modern design. It’s made of robust ABS and PP plastic, materials we typically see in products for outdoor use, but they also don’t add extra kilos. Its dimensions 726 x 390 x 513 mm (55L version) and weight 14,9 kg (55L version) make it easy to fit into the trunks of larger cars or into spaces in recreational vehicles.
However, it’s worth noting that the size of the fridge can be an issue during transport, especially in smaller vehicles or those that are already packed with gear. While it has ergonomic handles and wheels for easier mobility, moving it can still be a bit cumbersome when transporting in tight spaces. In the package, besides the fridge itself, you’ll find 2 handles that need to be screwed on using a cross-head screwdriver (not included), along with an adapter for powering from a 12V car socket, as well as from a 230V outlet.
Capacity and functionality
Despite its compact appearance, the Mudiro MR50 fridge offers a generous internal volume of 55 liters, enough for storing food and drinks for a small group of people. Dual-zone setup with a removable divider allows you to keep separate freezing and cooling areas. This flexibility comes in handy when organizing different foods.
The temperature in the freezer compartment can be set individually in the range from -20℃ to 20℃, ensuring ideal conditions for storing a wide variety of food and drinks.

If we had to highlight one standout feature of the fridge, it would be its effective cooling capability. It uses advanced compressor cooling technology and offers quick cooling modes as well as energy-saving options. It has two modes, MAX and ECO— the first one mentioned makes it possible to reach the desired temperature in the shortest possible time, while the second is intended for maintaining temperature and low power consumption.
The fridge maintains a constant temperature even in extreme heat, although sometimes we noticed occasional fluctuations. This inconsistency can sometimes be observed in Eco mode, where the temperature tends to rise more easily. Still, we rate the device’s overall cooling performance as commendable, and it can carry out its primary function effectively.
The fridge’s average power consumption is only 45 W, which is especially useful when relying on limited energy sources, such as a car battery. The device also includes a 3-level battery protection function (H/M/L), which prevents it from fully draining. This extra feature ensures you won’t get stuck somewhere in the woods after longer use of the fridge with a dead car battery.
Controls and other features
The operation of the Mudiro fridge seems a bit confusing at first glance. Thanks to the intuitive control panel and clearly labeled buttons, everyone can find the right combinations after a few minutes of practice. The touch display allows easy temperature setting, while the built-in LED light improves visibility at night, making it convenient to find items even in the dark.
Besides that, the fridge’s quiet operation with noise levels of only 35 decibels ensures a peaceful environment even during nighttime use in enclosed spaces. The only annoyance might be the fridge’s occasional beeping, whose direct cause we couldn’t identify during use. According to the included materials, it may indicate temperature fluctuations in the cooling compartment; in any case, we don’t recommend putting a fridge turned on directly into a tent.

The portable Mudiro MR50 fridge is a solid choice for those looking for reliable cooling solutions for outdoor activities. Its sturdy build, sufficient capacity, and energy efficiency make it a valuable addition to any outdoor adventure.
Among the biggest downsides is its size, which makes it harder to transport in fully loaded or compact vehicles. You also may not be happy with occasional temperature fluctuations, although they don’t in any way prevent the fridge from functioning properly. While the Mudiro fridge isn’t a perfect product from the top tier, it certainly keeps its promises and is a great companion for summer festivals or camping.
