The vivo company has relied on ZEISS optics and special bokeh effects for quite some time in its premium X series, but the upcoming vivo X200 Ultra will take photo quality even further. According to the latest leaks, this model will be using technology from Japanese company Fujifilm for the first time, which is said to deliver significantly better image quality and more accurate color reproduction.
Camera improvements
The main novelty is a partnership with Fujifilm, aimed at giving users a professional-grade photography experience. It’s expected that thanks to this technology, smartphone photography will be even more realistic, with an improved dynamic range and color accuracy.
According to the leaks, the vivo X200 Ultra will be powered by a new A1 chip, which will bring more intelligent image processing and optimization for night shots or portraits. Key photography features will include:
- 4K video at 120 fps with HDR for ultra-smooth, highly detailed footage
- A new Live Photo mode that will let you create dynamic snapshots
- 5-axis image stabilization to ensure sharp, blur-free photos even while moving
- A special photography mode for photography enthusiasts that will offer advanced settings
Release date and availability
According to available information, the vivo X200 Ultra will be unveiled in April 2025. Like its predecessor, however, it will remain exclusively available on the Chinese market, which may disappoint global fans of this brand.
