The larger Huawei Watch 5 (46 mm) comes in at dimensions of 46 × 46,7 × 11,3 mm and a weight range of 58 g to 63 g depending on color. The body is made of aerospace titanium or steel 316L. The back is ceramic or reinforced composite. The smaller version (42 mm) weighs only 48 – 51 g and uses steel 904L or 316L. Both models come in eye-catching colorways like violet, beige, sand-gold, as well as black and white.

The straps vary by model—from fluororubber options to composite, up to elegant titanium. Wrist size that the watch fits ranges from 120 mm to 210 mm depending on the model.

Next-gen LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display

Both Huawei Watch 5 models come with an LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels. The larger model has a 1.5-inch screen with 310 ppi, while the smaller one has a 1.38-inch display with a higher 338 ppi density. What stands out is the maximum brightness of up to 3000 nits, ensuring perfect readability even in direct sunlight.

The display is protected by premium glass, and thanks to LTPO technology it can dynamically adjust the refresh rate—saving battery when showing the Always-on display (AOD).

Sensors and health features

The lineup includes an advanced 6.0 optical heart rate sensor, an EKG sensor, a body temperature sensor, a barometer, an ambient light sensor, a gyroscope, a compass, and a new X-TAP sensor (side sensor). The watches can monitor heart rate, blood oxygenation, stress, body temperature, and EKG recordings, and they also support sleep monitoring and sports activities.
