Do you order shipments on the well-known online marketplace AliExpress? Then read this carefully, because AliExpress wants to expand its presence also in Central and Eastern Europe. We can look forward to a new logistics center in Poland, as well as new pickup boxes for collecting your items, which you may already know from local sellers.
Nové logistické centrum v Európe
As reported by the Slovak Denník N, the Chinese company AliExpress will launch its first logistics center in Poland before November 11, 2021, when the biggest Chinese sales of the year begin. This new center should serve neighboring countries, including Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Customers in Austria and Germany will also receive their orders faster.
According to available information, we can look forward to delivery within three business days. In the case of big cities such as Warsaw, Łódź, Kraków, and Katowice, delivery will be possible as soon as the next day. The shipping speedup was also confirmed by Gary Topp, AliExpress CEO for Central and Eastern Europe.

„AliExpress, globálna platforma elektronického obchodu patriaca do skupiny Alibaba Group, oznámila, že prvé nezávislé logistické centrum v Poľsku bolo dokončené a začne svoju prevádzku.“ – uvádza spoločnosť AliExpress v tlačovej správe.
The logistics center was created in cooperation with the Cainiao brand, which is essentially the company’s logistics arm and handles product shipping. The warehouse of this center is located near the city of Łódź and has an area of up to 10,000 square meters.
Novinkou budú aj boxy pre vyzdvihnutie tovaru
AliExpress novým logistickým centrom nekončí. Spoločnosť plánuje spustiť až 300 balíkových automatov vo Varšave a do konca roku 2022 chce mať v Poľsku celkovo 8 000 automatov. Informáciu uviedol portál newscommerce.pl.
Already in January, in an interview for PAP Business, Gary Topp said that AliExpress, together with the Cainiao brand and its Polish partners, plans to launch a pilot project for its own parcel pickup devices.

For comparison, In-Post—which has a network of pickup and shipping locations in Poland—currently operates around 4800 parcel lockers. It’s also possible that over time we’ll see new parcel lockers from AliExpress in nearby markets, in Slovakia or in neighboring Czech Republic.
