With the Vivo X300 Ultra, we shot in the city and in the mountains in the editorial office and went head-to-head with its biggest rival OPPO Find X9 Ultra. The clear winner wasn’t one, though, because Vivo focused on a main camera with a 35 mm focal length and a macro mode that focuses from 15 centimeters—so in some disciplines it beats the competition, while in others OPPO leaves it behind. We picked the most important impressions from our full Vivo X300 Ultra review, where you’ll also find dozens of sample photos.
The global version comes with Slovak that they send you tax-free
With the Vivo X300 Ultra in the global version, you can get it from the trusted seller GShopper. The phone has Slovak and Czech, Google services, eSIM, NFC payments, and automatic updates—so it doesn’t differ from the unit you’d buy in a shop in Slovakia. It’s officially sold in Europe for around 2 000 €. The seller delivers it in about 10 to 15 days, and you don’t have to pay customs duty, VAT, or shipping extra.
China Planet shopping TIP: GShopper has now launched direct bank transfer payments, so you can save another 4.5 % off the product price! Compared to card / Google Pay payment, you can get this product much cheaper. We described the full bank transfer payment process in our article.

Main camera with 35 mm focal length: Great photos, but step back
The main camera has a new 200 Mpx Sony Lytia 901 sensor with a 1/1.12-inch size, and Vivo gave it a fixed 35 mm focal length. Photos from it have no distortion at the edges, and portraits or street details get a natural bokeh—something we’re more used to seeing on mirrorless cameras with fixed lenses. The best results came from the 25 Mpx mode, where shots are very sharp and have no noise.
But you pay for it in comfort. While with the OPPO Find X9 Ultra with a 24 mm focal length—or the older Vivo X100 Ultra—you can capture the whole table in a restaurant from where you’re standing, with the new model you almost always have to step back by one or two paces. That’s why OPPO is more convenient for quick family moments, but Vivo photos have depth and an atmosphere you usually can’t get from a phone.

Macro from 15 cm and an ultra-wide lens—where OPPO lost
The telephoto lens also has 200 MPx and a 85 mm focal length, which corresponds to roughly 3.7x zoom. When switched to macro mode, it focuses from as close as 15 centimeters, so it captures insects, dew drops, and flower details better than the previous X100 Ultra and the entire current competition. The macros from the OPPO Find X9 Ultra look flat next to it, and you can see more of the software’s “guessing”/interpolation.
Telephoto lens
Long shutter – one JPEG shot
We were also surprised by the ultra-wide camera, whose 50 Mpx Sony Lytia 818 sensor with a 1/1, 28 -inch size is larger than the main sensor in many phones. The corners are sharp, colors are true, and after dark the photos don’t have to be as heavily de-noised—while the ultra-wide camera on the OPPO had softer corners and slightly distorted green tints.
Where is the OPPO Find X9 Ultra better
For subjects hundreds of meters away, OPPO is better—it has a separate 10-x periscope with a 230 mm focal length. At 20- to 30-x zoom, it still has plenty of detail, while Vivo already has to crop the image digitally from the telephoto lens with a 85 mm focal length, which then loses contrast. OPPO also has a larger battery rated at 7 050 mAh, lasting up to three days, and through O+ Connect it pairs with a Mac, which Vivo doesn’t offer.
During long gaming sessions, the Vivo X300 Ultra gets noticeably hot, and it’s uncomfortable to hold. Compared to the X200 Ultra model, the dedicated camera shutter button is gone as well—so if you want a physical shutter, you’ll need to pay extra for the Photography Kit, which you’ll find as an additional option in the price box.

6 600 mAh for the whole day and a one-hour charge
The battery is 6 600 mAh, while the X100 Ultra had 5 500 mAh. In our test, it lasted the whole day of shooting in the sun with maximum brightness, with room to spare for the evening—and with normal use you can easily get two days. With the 100 W charger, we charged it from 1% to half in 30 minutes and to full in about an hour.
A display with a diagonal of 6,82 inches is, in our opinion, among the best you can find in a phone today. Auto brightness responds instantly, and in direct sunlight the display is readable without any issues. Power is handled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with 16 GB RAM, and the OriginOS 6 system is fast, smooth, and doesn’t unnecessarily close background apps.
Who we recommend the Vivo X300 Ultra for
OPPO Find X9 Ultra is a smarter choice if you want an all-round phone with a long zoom and a three-day battery life. Pick Vivo X300 Ultra if you enjoy photography and want shots with depth and macro detail that no other competitor can match. You’ll find all our measurements, benchmarks, sample photos, and videos in the full Vivo X300 Ultra review.
