We’re already kind of used to bizarre products from China. But what you’re going to see now from a Chinese influencer will definitely make you stare. He managed to build a power bank himself, and the capacity will literally make your jaw drop. It can power your TV or even a washing machine.
A power bank with 27 million mAh
On this site we bring you info about great power banks that give your smartphone even more battery percentages. We’re talking about capacities of 10 000 or even 20 000 mAh. Can you imagine a power bank with a capacity of 27 million mAh?
A Chinese tech enthusiast, Handy Geng, on the Chinese social network Weibo and on YouTube posted a video showing how he made a DIY “portable” power bank with an unbelievable 27 million mAh.
In a 7-minute video, he says he’s had enough of people around him having bigger power banks than his, and he wanted to prove to them that he has the biggest power bank with the longest battery life of them all. And he succeeded.
It seems that the enthusiast Handy Geng bought a large flat battery. Something similar to what you might find in electric vehicles. To achieve the design of a big power bank, he wrapped it in a silver casing, and that imitation turned out well.
Next, it was necessary to set up the input and output charging ports. He installed one input charging port with 60 output charging ports that support up to 220 V.
A TV, a washing machine, a stove, and all of it at once
Thanks to this kind of output, this power bank can charge up to 20 devices at once, and that’s an impressive performance. You can use those 220 V to power a TV, a washing machine, and an electric induction stove—everything at the same time.
At this point you can hardly call it a portable device, because it really has huge dimensions. But it is truly an interesting project that, of course, will never make it to retail. This also proves what the Chinese are capable of.
What do you think about an experiment like this? Would you make something similar? Or are you a fan of such big external batteries? Let us know in the comments below the article. Follow the ChinaPlanet website, sign up for news updates, and follow us on social media Facebook and YouTube.
