ESCAM QF380: The trail camera has 4G connectivity via a SIM card and night vision
The AESCAM QF380 trail camera offers a plastic body in the so-called “camouflage” color finish. The device dimensions are 95 x 120 mm, while the antenna for signal distribution is 135 mm long. The solar panel you’ll find directly in the box measures 175 x 120 mm, and the power microUSB cable is 2.85 meters long. The construction also provides enhanced protection against water and dust, with certification IP 66.
The integrated sensor has a 4 MPx rating and delivers a final 1440p video resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels). It supports two-way audio thanks to the built-in microphone and speaker. In addition, it includes a motion sensor that detects up to 95° (at a distance within 0 – 12 m) and triggers recording based on movement. It also has 8 infrared LEDs for night vision up to 25 meters.
Solar panel and 7800 mAh battery
The manufacturer prepared 4G / LTE connectivity thanks to the SIM card slot, as well as recording to cloud storage. Motion alerts and video viewing can be handled through a mobile app as well. There’s also a microSD card slot supporting up to 128 GB.
Power is handled by the 7800 mAh battery (18650 cell). You can charge it using the microUSB connector and the manufacturer’s solar panel. It has 4 W of power and continuously charges the battery in the device, which lasts for approximately up to 30 hours of recording. External charging, for example from a power bank, will be needed only very minimally.
In the retail package, you’ll find the trail camera itself named ESCAM QF380, along with the manufacturer’s accessories. You’ll also find the solar panel, a strap for mounting the camera, e.g. to a tree, as well as a stand for the solar panel, a set of screws, a microUSB cable for power, and also a brief user guide for the first setup of the device — as usual, in English.
