If you’re looking for a reliable set for your home or business, the Hiseeu PK-4HB615 CCTV system includes four 5 MP POE bullet cameras with a built-in microphone and a 8-channel NVR. Thanks to H.265 compression, it can handle a higher number of recordings on a smaller storage drive, and the live view via the XmEye Pro app lets you check everything from anywhere. Its strong point is easy installation with POE/power and data transfer over a single cable, plus practical AI human/face detection for fewer false alerts.

What you get in the box and what to watch out for
In the box, you’ll get a 8-channel POE NVR and four 5 MP POE IP cameras with a 3.6 mm lens and IP66 weather resistance. The NVR supports 5 MP/4 MP/3 MP/1080p/720p streams and offers HDMI/VGA outputs and two USB ports. Included cables may vary by seller, but the basics will be covered with standard network patch cables Cat5e/Cat6.
Important note: the set does not include a hard drive. You need to purchase a 3.5″ HDD based on your desired recording history. With 5 MP cameras and H.265, keep in mind that 1 TB will last only a few days depending on the number of channels and the bitrate/recording settings when there’s movement.
Image, night vision, and audio
The cameras deliver a 5 MP Ultra HD image with an approximately 80° viewing angle—ideal for covering yards, entrances, and hallways. With the right placement and exposure settings, you can comfortably read scene details from the recording and identify people or license plates under better lighting conditions.
Night vision is handled by 3 IR LED. The manufacturer states a range of up to 30 m/100 ft/ for the features, while the specification lists 15 m. In practice, expect a real range of 15–30 m depending on scene lighting, wall color, and the camera’s placement. The built-in microphone records ambient audio, so you’ll get both video and audio in one file.
Easy installation with POE and a stable NVR
POE means fewer cables and fewer problems. For each camera, you only need one ethernet cable—power and data go through it. Centralized power also makes UPS backup easier and simplifies power monitoring via the NVR.
The NVR supports up to 8 channels, so besides the four included cameras you can add more units. You also get 1× HDMI and 1× VGA outputs for local display, two USB ports for a mouse and exporting recordings, plus support for 3.5″ HDD drives. The NVR uses 48 V/3 A power.
AI detection and a mobile app
AI Face & Humanoid Detection focuses on people and faces, reducing false alarms triggered by trees or animals. Alerts are sent directly to the XmEye Pro app, where you can quickly view a preview, timeline, and download clips.
Remote access in the manufacturer’s app works via the cloud. I recommend enabling two-factor authentication, changing passwords regularly, and creating user accounts with different permissions on the NVR. For smooth remote viewing, use a substream/lower resolution/, and keep the main stream for recording in full 5 MP.

Tips for placement and settings
Mount the cameras 2.5–3 m above the ground and tilt them slightly to reduce IR reflections from walls and door frames. Avoid pointing directly at strong light sources—an IR filter and exposure settings will keep more detail in shadows.
On the NVR, set up a recording schedule for motion/AI detection and fine-tune the sensitivity threshold according to the scene. For quick backtracking, I recommend a different name for each channel and a date/time overlay. You’ll export clips via USB in MP4/AVI.
