- Launch September 24, 2026 (Malaysia).
- Battery 11 000 mAh, bigger than the one in its own flagship Magic 8 Pro.
- Main camera 108 MP, resistance IP68/IP69/IP69K.
- Supposedly, it also gets 80 W charging and a display with brightness up to 10,000 nits.
Honor is preparing a mid-range phone, the X9e Pro, which outlasts its own flagship in battery life. The manufacturer has officially confirmed the launch date, September 24, 2026, for the Malaysian market, along with four color variants and a key feature: a 11,000 mAh battery.
11 000 mAh battery outlasts even Magic 8 Pro
The main draw of the X9e Pro is a battery with a capacity of 11 000 mAh. For comparison, the current flagship from Honor Magic 8 Pro has a battery capacity of only 7 100 mAh, so the mid-range X9e Pro beats even the more expensive model in the brand’s lineup in terms of battery life. Notebookcheck notes that Honor already offers a similar high-capacity battery in the Chinese model X80 Pro Max, but that one has a weaker 50 Mpx camera, a 6.8″ OLED display, and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chip. The X9e Pro thus looks like an improved version aimed at a different market.
108 MPx camera and water- and dust-proof durability
The teasers confirm a dual rear camera setup with a main 108 Mpx sensor housed in a round module. The phone will also get certification IP68, IP69, and IP69K for dust and water resistance. In its promotional materials, Honor even hints that the phone will survive being submerged in hot water, which is a more demanding test than what most water-resistant phones can handle.
Allegedly also 80 W charging and a display with brightness of 10 000 nits
According to a Malaysian tech site that published the facts first before the official unveiling, the X9e Pro should also come with 80 W wired fast charging and a display with peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits. Honor has not officially confirmed these details yet, so for now take them as likely but not certain specs. The complete specifications and the price should be revealed by the manufacturer at the launch itself.
Four colors to choose from
The X9e Pro will be introduced in four color variants: Royal Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold, and Midnight Black. All versions feature a leather back cover with a rounded camera module in a contrasting gold color.
In Slovakia, Honor phones are mainly sold in the mid-range, and interest in models with bigger batteries has been growing long-term—especially among people who don’t want to charge their phone every day. It’s still unclear whether and for what price the X9e Pro will also come to our market, since Honor has announced it so far only for Malaysia.
