The company decided that the best solution in this situation is to bring its own processor manufacturing online. The latest move is to look for young talent too, with the promise of a decent paycheck.
HiSilicon has to find its own way
Huawei will therefore have to start with its own path to produce more processors. According to some information, we know that the electronics manufacturer has found another key producer of semiconductor components: MediaTek.
However, the latest reports clearly point to the second option. Huawei will find its own reinforcements. At the moment, it’s gathering a few experts for its team.
The subsidiary HiSilicon is specifically interested in manufacturing microchips for their devices. It now needs fresh additions from young people from different corners of the world.
Huawei is launching a recruitment program and also promises generous salaries, reaching up to five times the paycheck from previous work after completing studies in the field of information technology.

From this announcement, it’s clear that postgraduate graduates—i.e., people with a master’s degree who completed (or will complete) their studies in the period from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2021—can take part in this program.
The purpose of the hiring is to address issues in the field of computer software architecture, general semiconductor technology, and chipsets. The company also didn’t forget to note here that the person can comfortably expect up to five times their previous job salary.
HiSilicon Kirin processors are found in Huawei and HONOR smartphones and tablets. In other words, the chip production division is looking for new young talent that can help the company produce more processor generations.
