The process is via the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. There are two key things: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary, in the field Promo code. After you click Pay now, you won’t be able to add it.

1. Copy the code and click Use discountIn our article, copy the coupon and click the button GET DISCOUNT. The link will take you directly to the product in the AliExpress app.
2. Use Add to cart instead of Buy nowOn the product card, scroll down and tap Add to cart. Don’t use the Buy now button—you’ll skip the cart, and later you won’t have anywhere to enter the coupon. Before that, double-check the variant: the color, the version, and whether it ships from an EU warehouse.
3. Through the cart, go to CheckoutA pop-up will appear: Added to cart! — tap Check it out in it. If it disappeared, open the cart with the icon at the bottom right. In the cart, check the product and quantity, then click the red Checkout. Only the items marked with the red ring will be applied.

Apply the discount already at the order summary. After you click Pay now, you can no longer add a coupon. If Apply shows an error, the code has either expired, doesn’t apply to your items, or the order doesn’t meet the minimum amount.

Editor’s note: Since 2024, a new version of the scooter has been sold under the name Joyor S10-S-Z. Its upgrades include turn signals, including a new handlebar controller. The clean weight dropped from 30.5 kg to a solid 27 kg.

Our review of the previous S10-S model

Back in 2023 we tested the original Joyor S10-S model, which didn’t have the improvements of the current version—namely the turn signals, a new controller on the handlebars, and a lighter weight from 30,5 kg to 27 kg. Otherwise, it’s the exact same scooter in terms of design and performance, and we still consider it one of the best choices for 700 €. Since the newer S10-S-Z model is a bit lighter, it should also have slightly better battery life per charge.

JOYOR S10-S-Z: A quality build, 2000 W, and a 18 Ah battery

JOYOR delivers an exceptionally solid build S10-S, made from an aluminum alloy. The dimensions are 124.5 x 61 x 123 cm, with the ability to fold into a smaller size suitable for transport, measuring 115 x 61 x 52.5 cm. The scooter’s net weight is 30.5 kilograms (the new S10-S-Z version is only 27 kg).

Inside, there’s a dual electric motor with a power of 2000 W (2 x 1000 W). It enables a top speed of up to 60 km/h after unlocking; otherwise, the speed is limited to 25 km/h. This drive is complemented by front and rear suspension, in a striking orange finish. The frame can handle riders up to 120 kilograms.

Smart LED display, 10″ tires, and hydraulic ZOOM brakes

The electric scooter has high-quality hydraulic brakes from ZOOM, as well as an integrated smart LED display with security to show statistics about your ride. The package also includes 10″ tires (road or “off-road” tires depending on configuration), as well as a 18 Ah (60 V) battery. Depending on the riding mode, the range is from 70 – 85 kilometers.

Charging afterwards takes about 10 – 12 hours with the included charger. According to the seller’s specifications, the scooter also features cruise control.

In the product’s sales package you’ll find the electric scooter itself JOYOR S10-S-Z. You’ll also get the charging cable with a local connector (EU Plug, 220 – 240 V / 50 – 60 Hz), a tool for securing the individual parts, a brief user manual, and the first device setup in English.
