As we mentioned at the beginning of our article, Kugoo Kirin G3 wasn’t praised at all at first. Even a Facebook group was created where users described their problems. Now, however, the seller Geekbuying and the manufacturer Kugoo have committed that the faulty production batch will not be sold on the market and every customer will receive a flawless unit.
We tested the right unit, and when everything works as it should, it’s a really great e-scooter.
Top-notch build
More passionate e-scooter fans definitely know the Kugoo Kirin G series. As the name of this e-scooter suggests, it’s by no means the first model either, which is why the construction and overall equipment of the scooter are very well tuned.
As for the build quality itself, the scooter’s construction is at a very high level. The all-aluminum body offers high durability, while the scooter weighs only 25 kilograms. The product’s load capacity is then 100 kilograms.
In this case, the manufacturer also decided to minimize any maintenance, achieved mainly by reinforcing the 10.5″ tires, using high-quality screws, and a more refined folding mechanism.
Performance definitely won’t be missing
On the performance side, the Kirin G3 model ranks among the more powerful models. The rear wheel has a 1200 W motor with a top speed of up to 50 km/h and a climbing ability of 30°. The scooter is built on a 52 V system.
You can choose from three speed modes, so you can enjoy a calm ride with battery-saving settings, or get a real blast of wind in your hair at the maximum speed level.
In the equipment you’ll also find a new TPU system for efficient suspension (plastic suspension), strong front and rear headlights, side lighting, a clear and easy-to-read touch display, as well as a front disc brake and a rear motor brake. Compared to the previous generations, the improvements are more than enough.
Decent range
Finally, we can’t forget to mention one of the most important parameters: range per charge. The Kugoo Kirin G3 has a battery with a capacity of 18 Ah and a maximum range of up to 70 kilometers on a single charge (depends on riding style). A full charge with the included charger takes 4-6 hours.
In the box you’ll find the electric Kugoo Kirin G3 scooter itself, a charger, the tools needed to assemble the scooter, and a user manual. The total package weight is approximately 30 kilograms.
