Nový Meizu 17 už o pár dní
Now, let’s take a look at the expected Meizu 17, the look and specs of which were recently leaked. The release of the new Meizu 17 has been announced for April 17 at 7:30, as shown on a promotional poster.
The main highlight is the use of 5G technology, keeping Meizu aligned with the currently most widespread smartphone trend. Other possible specs will be revealed below.
Super AMOLED s 90 Hz
The display shouldn’t have thick bezels, thanks in part to the cutout for the front 16 MPx camera. According to the leaked photo, it could be very small and non-intrusive, which is an advantage.
The size of the front panel is expected to be 6.5 inches. The display should be Super AMOLED with an in-display fingerprint reader and a resolution of FullHD+. There’s also talk of a 90 Hz refresh rate, which is part of pretty much every more expensive smartphone right now.

64 MPx štvoritý fotoaparát
Since we’re talking about cameras, let’s look at them in more detail. The main 64 MPx sensor is said to be a Samsung GW1. We’ll likely also see an 8 MPx ultra-wide sensor, 5 MPx telephoto lens, and a 2 MPx depth-of-field sensor. In the middle of this unusual arrangement, you’ll find an LED flash.

Snapdragon 865 a LPDDR5 RAM
On the performance side, we expect the use of the Snapdragon 865 processor from Qualcomm. For smooth system operation, the processor will be supported by LPDDR5 RAM, though the standard Meizu 17 model should only have the older LPDDR4X type.
Storage should use the fast UFS 3.0 standard, with a possible capacity of 128 GB. RAM capacity, according to various rumors, could top out at 8 GB.
30 W rýchle nabíjanie
Meizu 17’s battery could have a capacity of 4,500 mAh. The 3C certification reveals that the battery supports 30 W fast charging with mCharge.

Mierne vyššia cenovka
Based on the leaked specs, we can say it will be a new Meizu flagship. The processor with 5G support and the 90 Hz display increase production costs, which will show in the price.
For the Chinese market, its price tag is estimated at 3,999 yuan, which is €520 / 14,340 CZK in conversion. Right now, we only know about the Chinese version.
