Realme planned to launch a new line of smartphones earlier, but Narzo 10 had to be delayed due to the COVID-19 illness. The original plan was March 26, then April 21, but the company has announced the final launch date.
Official launch date
The Chinese company wanted to launch the smartphones on the Indian market, but due to the coronavirus that hit the country hard, Realme had to move the announcement to the final May 11th.
It will happen at 9:00 our time. The event will be held as a video conference in India.
Specs are being speculated about
The specs haven’t been confirmed at all yet, but there are rumors about rebranding the Realme 6i and Realme C3 as the Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A. That means the Indian market will essentially get these smartphones under different names.
Better Narzo 10
So the expected Narzo 10 will come with specs like a 6.5″ HD+ display, a MediaTek Helio G80 processor, or 4 GB of RAM paired with 128 GB of storage.
It could also feature a main 48 MPx sensor, an 8 MPx wide-angle sensor, and two additional 2 MPx sensors. On the front, there could be a 16 MPx camera. There’s also talk of a 5000 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging.
Cheaper Narzo 10A
The display in this version should stay the same, meaning a 6.5″ HD+ panel. Inside, there could be a MediaTek Helio G70 processor, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, and a 12 MPx camera with two additional 2 MPX sensors.
The selfie camera could be 5 MPx, and a 5000 mAh battery with 10 W charging could also round out the specs. That means it’ll be the cheaper and more basic Narzo sibling.
Prices are not known yet, but regarding the specs and the target market, the smartphones could fall within a price cap of 200 – 250 €.
