Important dates
This year, stores will definitely have their big sales: Banggood, Geekbuying, Soundcore, GShopper, Mobvoi, but also marketplaces AliExpress, DHGate, and for the first time maybe even Temu. The start dates differ from seller to seller, but in most cases you can count on sales starting as early as 8.11.2023.
Here are the confirmed so far and estimated start dates of the sales:
- Banggood (confirmed) – 11.11 sales: 8.11. – 11.11.2023 (also with PayPal discounts), Black Friday: 20.11 – 25.11.2023 and Cyber Monday: 26.11. – 3.12.2023
- AliExpress (confirmed) – 11.11 sales: 11.11 – 17.11.2023 and Black Friday: 23.11 – 29.11.2023
- Geekbuying (unconfirmed) – 1.11 – 26.11.2023
- DHGate (unconfirmed) – 10.11 – 14.11.2023
Why do 11.11 have huge sales?
Day 11.11. is a holiday of relationships in China. In the world, we know it as “Singles Day” or the day of single people. This day was chosen because the number “1” symbolizes an individual who is alone.
The holiday has become a popular celebration for relationships. The biggest retail chains turned it to their advantage, and for years locals have also treated it as a shopping holiday.
Very well-known Chinese e-commerce giant, Alibaba—in 2021, just for this one day it reached a turnover of an incredible 84,54 billion dollars (revenues from 2022 were not announced). For the Chinese, this is an even bigger sales holiday than Black Friday itself.
But the sales don’t end after 11.11 at all. As usual, more great discounts come with Black Friday, which falls on Friday 24.11 this year. Here you won’t usually find as low prices as during 11.11, but you still have the chance to buy at some of the lowest prices of the year—and get your Christmas gifts ready.
November usually ends with Cyber Monday sales, but those are already more like echoes after the best prices. Still, during these days it’s possible to find great coupons. This sale should fall on 27.11.
Of course, as we’re used to doing here, we’ll let you know about each seller’s sales in time with a big sales article. All coupons will be available in our Discount Planet both on ChinaPlanet.sk and also on XiaomiPlanet.sk, where we focus exclusively on the Xiaomi brand.
How do I find out whether the prices are really the lowest of the year?
Even though during November sales the Chinese often promise the lowest prices, it’s not always the case. That’s why this year we’ve launched the price history function on our websites, so you can check exactly whether the price is really the lowest.
If a specific product already has price history, then in the price box we offer a button to display it. We store prices in our own database, and you’ll see them clearly in a chart.
Besides the price history feature, we also offer price tracking. Just sign up with your email on the specific product, and as soon as we update the coupon for the product, our system will automatically send you an email with a message about the price.
Right now, together with our programmers, we’re working on the next polished feature for our websites, which we plan to launch before the November sales. There’s a lot to look forward to—so make sure you keep following us!
Where can you follow us so you don’t miss record coupons?
First of all, you need to follow our website directly, because it’s our main channel and everything we publish is on the site. As we already mentioned, for coupons you should use the Deal Planet, which is updated day by day with the latest discounts.
