Revolut, which most of us know as a digital bank for payments abroad, is also expanding its services as a mobile operator. Under the Revolut Mobile brand, it offers its own monthly plans, and on October 14 it launched them in Germany as well, which is already the fourth country after the United Kingdom, Poland, and the Netherlands. Revolut confirmed to Živé.sk that it wants to launch full mobile services in Slovakia in the next phase too, but it has not yet announced a launch date or prices for our market.
A plan you buy in the banking app
Revolut Mobile works exclusively with eSIM, so forget about a physical SIM card or a store. You choose the plan and pay directly in the Revolut app, where you can also transfer your existing number or get a new one. The contract is monthly and can be cancelled anytime, so unlike traditional mobile operators, it doesn’t tie you down in any way.
If you have an older or cheaper phone, you should check whether it actually supports eSIM—otherwise you won’t be able to use the Revolut plan. Phones that support eSIM and their prices in Slovak stores can be compared on Heureka after clicking this link.
For the Revolut plan, you need a Revolut account—through it, the eSIM is activated and payments are made. If you don’t have one yet, you can set it up via this link and have it ready when Revolut launches plans also here with us. At the very least, you can use it while traveling for better exchange rates.
In Germany and the Netherlands, you can add up to three additional numbers to a single plan, depending on Revolut’s assistant—for example, work numbers—so you don’t need a second phone. For an extra fee, you can also choose an easy-to-remember VIP number. The plan can be paid partially or fully with RevPoints loyalty points. The price also includes a NordVPN subscription and the so-called Messaging Pass, so your messaging apps outside Europe will work even without buying data.

Revolut does not have its own network, so in Poland, the Netherlands, and Germany the plans are technically provided by 1GLOBAL and the signal runs through the networks of local operators, namely Play, KPN, and Telefónica. In the United Kingdom, Revolut uses the Vodafone network via its partner Gigs.
How much it costs in each country
The latest German offer costs €14.99 per month and includes 120 GB of data on a 5G network at full speed. After you’ve used it up, you can still surf unlimitedly, but only at 2 Mbit/s. The maximum speed is capped at 100 Mbit/s, which is more than enough for high-resolution video and for sharing the internet. You also get unlimited calls and SMS in Germany, plus 40 GB of data for roaming in the EU. Until 28 October, there’s an introductory price of €12.50, which those who sign up by then will keep until further notice. Revolut has more than three million customers in Germany, and the plan will be made available to them gradually over the coming weeks.
The cheapest plans are in Poland, where Revolut launched them in December 2025. According to 1GLOBAL, the plan starts at 25 zloty (about €5.70) per month for 50 GB of data with unlimited calls and SMS, and the higher-tier plan with 200 GB costs 45 zloty (about €10.30).
| Monthly price | Home data | Roaming in the EU | Network | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Germany | 14.99 € | 120 GB, then unlimited 2 Mbit/s | 40 GB | Telefónica |
| Poland | 25 zloty (about 5.70 €) | 50 GB | yes | Play |
| Poland (higher) | 45 zloty (about 10.30 €) | 200 GB | yes | Play |
| Netherlands | 9.99 € | 20 GB | within 20 GB | KPN |
| Netherlands (unlimited) | 23.99 € | unlimited | 40 GB | KPN |
| United Kingdom | 14.99 £ (about 17.80 €) | unlimited | 20 GB (EU and USA) | Vodafone |
The data come from Revolut’s official website and its partner’s site as of 21 October 2026. In all countries, for unlimited data, the fair use policy (FUP) applies.
When will it arrive in Slovakia
Revolut has already confirmed to Živé.sk that it plans to launch full mobile plans in Slovakia in the next phase of its expansion, but the company has not given an official date. For now, Slovak customers can only buy travel data eSIM packages in the app. If you want to get ready for Revolut’s arrival, choose an eSIM-compatible phone in advance. A Slovak version of the plans page does not exist yet, and we also do not have any information on which operator Revolut would work with here or how much the plan would cost. Prices also differ in each country depending on the local market, so Polish or German prices cannot be directly transferred here.
If Revolut were to bring prices to Slovakia similar to those in Poland, it would rank among the cheapest offers on our market and traditional operators would have to respond. Anyone with Revolut on their phone will likely see the launch notice first directly in the app.
Phone without eSIM? A cheap adapter helps
If you have an older phone or a Chinese version that doesn’t support eSIM, you don’t have to buy a new one right away. The EasyEUICC eSIM adapter looks like a regular SIM card—you insert it into the slot and, via the EasyEUICC app, load an eSIM profile into it from a QR code. On Android, you can store up to 15 profiles. It works on iPhone too, but profiles don’t switch as freely as on Android.
An AliExpress eSIM adapter
TIP20-day delivery via Aliexpress Standard Shipping
For this product, Aliexpress Standard Shipping is available with guaranteed delivery within 20 days. This is the most reliable shipping method and, in most cases, it’s handled by a courier company. The 20-day delivery we truly tested.
When you order from a Chinese warehouse, AliExpress adds a customs duty charge of approximately 3,70 € per order to your cart. When you receive the shipment, you won’t have to pay anything extra.
We haven’t yet verified whether the adapter can handle eSIM from Revolut. Revolut loads the eSIM directly in its app, so the adapter will only help if you also get a QR code or an activation code for the profile. However, you can use it right away for travel data bundles from other providers.
