SurRon ULTRA Bee: Power up to 12,5 kW, 55 Ah battery and a range up to 140 km

Let’s start with the stronger version from the pair of electric motorcycles—the SurRon ULTRA Bee model. It features a robust frame with a front fender, which also required a higher weight. That weight comes in at 85 kilograms (without the battery).

Power is taken care of by an integrated electric motor with a standard output of 3000 W, whose “peak” reaches up to 12.5 kW! The motor uses PMSM technology (magnetic synchronous motor) and ensures a maximum speed of up to 90 km/h.

It also comes with an “X” type control unit and hydraulic brakes on both wheels. The bike delivers torque up to 440 N.m and can handle the maximum rider load of up to 100 kg.

The integrated battery has a capacity of 74 V / 55 Ah (these are 18650-type cells). With full capacity, it provides a range of up to 140 kilometers (calculated with constant riding at a speed of 40 km/h).

SurRon Light Bee: 6 kW and a top speed of 75 km/h

SurRon Light Bee is a lighter model available right away in four color variants. This electric motorcycle is lighter, with a curb weight of just 56.6 kg (without the battery).

The PMSM electric motor output is 3000 W, and the “peak” reaches up to 6 kW. The maximum speed is 75 km/h and the torque is 250 N.m. The maximum rider payload in this case is 100 kilograms.

The lower weight comes at the cost of a lower battery capacity. It has a capacity of 60 V / 38.5 Ah (also 18650-type cells) and, on a single charge, it lasts up to 120 kilometers (calculated with constant riding at a speed of 25 km/h).

The sales package includes, in both cases, the electric bike itself from the SurRon brand, as well as original accessories directly from the manufacturer. You’ll also find a tool for securing the individual parts, a front fender, and a charging cable, a mains adapter with a local plug (EU Plug, 220 – 240 V / 50 – 60 Hz), as well as a brief user manual and the first device setup—traditionally—in English.
