A great display and decent battery life
Teclast M40 offers durable, high-quality aluminum build with fairly compact dimensions. It measures 24.3 x 16.3 x 0.9 cm. The tablet weighs just 530 g, which definitely isn’t the lightest.
Despite the slightly higher weight, the tablet comes with a large battery with a capacity of 6 000 mAh. That delivers a solid battery life of up to 7 hours. However, it depends on how demanding your usage of the device is.
The tablet features a beautiful 10.1″ IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It has very good viewing angles and is also covered with 2.5D protective glass.
Above the display, there’s also an 8 MPx selfie camera. The tablet has fairly thin bezels around the screen, which makes it ideal for gaming. The rear camera also has an 8 MPx resolution.
The tablet also includes a 3.5 mm audio jack, a USB-C charging port, and a slot for micro SD memory cards.
Dual Wi-Fi or Android 10
VoLTE technology is also supported, along with TDD + FDD 4G connectivity. Dual Wi-Fi 2.4G/5G is complemented by GPS + BDS technology, and you also get stereo speakers for clear, high-quality sound.
The tablet is powered by an 8-core UNISOC T618 processor, with a Mali G52 graphics chip. There’s also 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The operating system is Android 10.
