On Geekbuying, 51 customers gave it a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. It was also thoroughly tested by the German site Igor’s LAB, which especially praises how wide the monitor’s color coverage is for this price. However, it notes that 10-bit colors are supported only up to 165 Hz, and at 240 Hz it switches to 8 bit, since DisplayPort 1.4 here doesn’t use DSC compression.

Fast IPS panel with 240 Hz and a response time of 1 ms

The base is a Fast IPS panel that responds faster than a standard IPS, while keeping the same accurate colors and 178° viewing angles. With a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 1 ms GTG response time, the image stays smooth and sharp even in fast shooters.

Dynamic overdrive adjusts the redraw speed based on the current refresh rate, so you don’t get smearing behind moving characters and objects. Adaptive-Sync syncs the monitor’s refresh rate with your graphics card, so the image doesn’t tear even when FPS drops—and it works with AMD and Nvidia cards.

QHD resolution and 95 % DCI-P3

The 2560 × 1440 px resolution at 27 inches gives you 108 PPI density—an sensible compromise between sharpness and graphics-card demands. Text is readable without scaling, and in games you’ll see more detail than on Full HD.

The monitor displays 1.07 billion colors (8 bit + FRC) and covers 95% of the DCI-P3 space and 100% sRGB, making it suitable even for photo editing or video cutting. Backlighting with hardware-reduced blue light and flicker-free (DC) technology helps protect your eyes during long sessions.

HDR400 and gaming helpers in the menu

Brightness reaches 400 nits, and the monitor offers HDR Auto, HDR Gaming, and HDR Movie modes—however, according to Igor’s LAB, don’t expect full-fledged HDR from it. In the menu you’ll also find helpers for dark games, such as dark tone tuning, night vision, or boosting color saturation and contrast.

There are also gaming helpers built right into the monitor: a crosshair that changes color based on the background, a frequency counter, a stopwatch, a countdown, and an Eagle Eye function that displays a magnified view of the center of the screen in the corner. It also includes 10 preset modes, for example for FPS, MOBA, reading, or Mac.

Height-adjustable stand and two computers at once

On the included stand, you can set the height in a range of 120 mm, tilt the screen from –5° to 20°, and turn it 25° left/right. You can also rotate it 90° for portrait mode, which is useful for programming or reading long documents—and you can mount the monitor on a wall or arm with a standard VESA 100 × 100 mm.

The monitor has two HDMI 2.0 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, and since it supports PIP and PBP modes, it can display content from two devices at the same time—for example, from a PC and a console. In the box you’ll find a stand, a power cable, and a DisplayPort cable.
