Ultimea Aura A30 is an affordable soundbar with 5.1-channel sound that can turn an ordinary living room into a home theater. We were quite surprised by the sound quality and the very solid bass for such a compact audio setup.

Dimensions of individual components:

- Surround speakers: 82 x 88 x 81 mm
5.1-channel virtual surround sound
One of the main advantages of the Ultimea Aura A30 is its ability to create 5.1-channel surround sound. This effect creates an immersive audio experience that brings the atmosphere of a movie theater right into your living room.
Sound performance and quality
Ultimea Aura A30 includes the manufacturer's BassMX and SurroundX technologies. BassMX takes care of deeper and richer bass, while SurroundX improves spatial audio rendering. Of course, these are just the manufacturer's marketing labels, and you'll only find out how good the sound really is when you try it in practice.
We were pleasantly surprised by the speaker quality, because they really sound good. At maximum volume, the small surround speakers become audible too; otherwise, they are fairly quiet. The bass is decent, just right for movies, but when it comes to music, it has its shortcomings.
The system’s frequency response is 65 Hz to 18 kHz, which enables clear reproduction of deep bass as well as delicate high tones. In terms of signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), the system has excellent values: for the AUX input it’s ≥75 dB and for the optical, Bluetooth, and USB input it’s ≥87 dB—so noise is minimized and you get clean sound.
Plenty of sound customization options
Ultimea Aura A30 lets you customize the audio output to your preferences via 121 preset EQ values on a special matrix that’s optimized for different music and sound genres. This wide range of presets helps you find the ideal setup for every type of content, from dynamic movies to more subtle acoustic tracks.
In addition, the system allows you to set up to 6 levels of surround sound, giving you more control over the soundstage and letting you fine-tune the audio to suit your room size and layout.
Great remote control, plus an app
One big plus of the Ultimea Aura A30 is that you can control the system through a well-made ULTIMEA app. The app makes it easy to adjust sound settings via the equalizer. However, if you don’t have a smartphone available, everything can be controlled directly from the remote. It offers equalizer settings, bass, and even the volume for the small surround speakers!
Bluetooth version 5.3 brings improved connection stability and faster data transfer, with a range of up to 10 meters. The system supports HFP, HSP, A2DP, and AVRCP profiles, meaning it’s compatible with a wide range of devices—from smartphones to tablets and laptops. Besides Bluetooth, it also offers traditional wired connection options via AUX, an optical input, and a USB port.
