We managed to unbox the mower successfully, install it, pair it, and film a few opening shots during the first mowing session. The initialization process took us, however, several dozen minutes, because we ran into issues pairing it with our OnePlus. In the end, we got it up and running via iPhone. We’ll have to go through this process again on an Android device too, so we can finally evaluate everything.
We also need to properly examine the methods for creating the map and setting the correct boundary for the property, but even now we can say in advance that if you have a lawn with a complex shape and hard-to-reach corners, such a robotic mower won’t be the right choice. More details in the review.
Our first impression of the hardware itself is very good. The mowing is extremely quiet, and thanks to the sharp blades it cuts the grass really nicely. The main stumbling block here, though, will be the app, which has its downsides.
