Buying on Banggood for the first time?

It has plenty of power

The Astrolux FT03 flashlight features one powerful XHP50.2 LED diode, capable of producing up to 4,300 lumens (SST40 2400 lm). You can choose between two color temperatures: specifically cool white 6,000–6,500 K and neutral white 5,700 K. The range is excellent 735 m (SST40 875 m), so you don’t have to worry about not seeing where you’re going.

Another important parameter is brightness, which is up to a fairly high number: 130,000 candela. For example, the popular bulb from Xiaomi Nextool reaches only up to 380 meters.

As firmware uses Astrolux FT03, open-source GPL NarsilM v1.3 by Tom E’s, modified by Texas_Ace.

User interface

By default, the flashlight is set to a very intuitive user interface: Narsil smooth RAMPING UI. This user interface provides instant access to TURBO mode.

As a second option, you can choose MODE-SET UI, which is a more discreet alternative. Another useful interface is MOMENTARY, which is used for signaling or for quick/short light-up of targets. There are up to 12 interfaces in total, and you can switch between them smoothly.

Solid and durable build

Despite its power, the flashlight has ideal dimensions: 170 x 69.5 x 34.5 mm (length / head diameter / body diameter). Weight is approximately 295 g without the battery.

The flashlight body is made from anodized aluminum alloy with hard type III coating. The lens is made of glass with an anti-reflective coating, and the button is made of silicone rubber.

Thanks to its construction and materials used, the flashlight is drop-resistant from heights up to 1.5 m. It also has an equivalent of IPX7 resistance. This protection level is against immersion in water for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter. In this case, however, it is only an equivalent and the manufacturer does not recommend intentional water immersion.

Included battery

For the Astrolux FT03 battery, it’s recommended to use a 26650 or 21700 / 18650 battery type. The included battery is 26650 and has a capacity of 5 000 mAh.

You can recharge it more than 1,500 times. The storage temperature is 0 – 25 °C.

If you’re planning to make the most of summer for night trips and camping trips and you’re missing a powerful flashlight, the Astrolux FT03 is a great option you won’t regret.
