A proper e-scooter
The DUOTTS D88 model is really massive—its weight is up to 50.3 kilograms, but the total load capacity is a very capable 150 kilograms. The entire frame is made of an aluminum alloy, and it also has the certified IPX4 rating.
There’s an integrated sealing spring at both the front and the rear, effectively eliminating bumps even on unpaved surfaces. That’s exactly why this e-scooter is perfect for the job, as it comes with 11-inch off-road tires.
High performance up to 5 600 W and a range of up to 100 km
Power is handled by a pair of electric motors with a combined output of 5 600 W. Such a drive can handle steep climbs up to 55° without any problem, and the maximum speed is limited to 85 km/h.
You’ll also need to slow down this kind of power effectively, which is taken care of by hydraulic oil brakes. If we look at the battery hidden in the e-scooter’s deck, it has a capacity of 38 Ah, which is enough for roughly 100 kilometers. Recharging it then takes 8 to 9 hours.
A large display and proper lighting
On the handlebars, you’ll find several buttons, but above all there’s a fairly large display showing all the key information—such as current speed, range, motor usage, and more.
