Editorial edit - Main sensor 200 Mpx 1/1.12″ with LOFIC technology
- Periscope 200 Mpx and a second one with 10× zoom
- Selfie camera 100 Mpx, 6.89″ 2K/144 Hz display
- Premiere in China in 1st half of 2027
Oppo is already selling the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max in Europe, so attention is shifting to the flagship model in the lineup. The well-known Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station shared what photo hardware and display Oppo is testing in an engineering sample of the Find X10 Ultra, which is expected to launch in China in the first half of 2027. According to his post, the phone should get two 200 Mpx sensors, a periscope with 10× optical zoom, and an unusually large 100 Mpx selfie camera.
Main sensor with LOFIC and two periscopes
The base should be a 200 Mpx main sensor with a size around 1/1.12″, which, according to the leaker, comes from Samsung (HPA or HPU model). It uses LOFIC technology, where each pixel retains more charge. As a result, the image will retain detail in a bright sky as well as in dark shadows at the same time, and the phone relies less on combining multiple shots. The sensor is the same size as in the Find X9 Ultra, which had a 200 Mpx Sony LYT-901, and the difference should be specifically in dynamic range.
Next to it, there should be two periscopes. The first gets a 200 Mpx sensor with a size of roughly 1/1.3″, and the second a 50 Mpx sensor with 10× optical magnification, which Oppo has used in Ultra models since the previous generation. The Gizmochina portal notes an earlier report in which Oppo was testing Samsung ISOCELL GNB and OmniVision OV51A sensors of around 1/1.95″ for the 10× periscope. Compared to the 50 Mpx sensor in the Find X9 Ultra, this would mean a noticeably larger chip.

However, that hasn’t been decided yet. In a follow-up under the post, the leaker added that the bigger sensor is not yet being supplied in series quantities, and Oppo is checking whether the manufacturer will be able to meet the timeline. If production gets delayed, the phone could end up with a smaller sensor sized at 1/2.76″.
Ultra-wide shot from Find X10 Pro Max and 100 Mpx selfie
When asked whether the ultra-wide camera would be the same as in the Find X10 Pro Max, the leaker replied that the engineering sample does have such a solution. It would be a 200 Mpx Samsung HP5 like the Pro Max uses for the ultra-wide, while the Find X9 Ultra had a 50 Mpx sensor in that spot. On the front, there should be a 100 Mpx selfie camera with a square sensor in a 1:1 ratio, which could shoot in portrait and landscape without rotating the phone.

So, together with the main sensor and a 200 Mpx telephoto lens, the Find X10 Ultra should have three 200 Mpx cameras on the back, similar to the Pro Max, plus a separate periscope with 10× zoom. According to Gizmochina, the camera should also be able to do macro shots via the telephoto lens.
Display from BOE, new Snapdragon, and 8 500 mAh
The display is said to have a 6.89-inch diagonal, 2K resolution, and a 144 Hz refresh rate, with the panel supplied by BOE. Compared to the 6.82-inch display of the predecessor, the screen would grow slightly. Oppo has not confirmed these details yet.
Previous leaks also point to the most powerful Qualcomm chip of the new generation and a battery with a capacity of around 8,500 mAh, i.e., larger than the 8,000 mAh in the Find X10 Pro Max and the 7,050 mAh in the Find X9 Ultra. However, this is tested hardware, so the final phone may differ.
A chance for a European version is realistic
For a long time, Oppo’s Ultra models were only for China—until Find X9 Ultra changed that in April 2026, and Oppo introduced it outside China as its first Ultra model as well. In Germany, at launch it cost just under €1,700 for the 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage version, and similar pricing is realistic for the successor as well. Whether Find X10 Ultra will take the same path, Oppo has not confirmed yet.

If you’re already tempted by an Oppo camera phone, in our Find X9 Ultra review you’ll find out how the current model takes photos. The Chinese launch of the Find X10 Ultra is expected only in the first half of 2027, and the European version, if there even is one, would arrive even later.
