You might be wondering why you shouldn’t buy a lamp like this directly in Slovakia or from local sellers in the Czech Republic. Similar accessories in the TDP lamp category, with a wheeled stand or an arm for adjustability, cost a lot more. The price for such a TDP lamp is about from €349, depending on the offer on the zdravynakup.sk portal.
Here’s how the TDP lamp works in the video:
Acupuncture TDP mineral lamp with 250 W power and a stand
TDP lamp, or the so-called acupuncture thermal lamp, is currently used as standard in the therapy of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). It’s known for its effects in relaxing muscles, managing pain, and also for chronic conditions. Using a TDP lamp is relatively new—many physiotherapists love it, along with other healthcare professionals.
The model from the international seller offers an integrated folding stand and a matte white finish made from durable metal materials. The product arrives in a box with larger dimensions, disassembled, with dimensions of 59 x 36 x 19 cm. The stand provides adjustment options at the arm location and has wheels for quick repositioning as needed.
Adjustable arm height and local EU power supply to the mains
In terms of features, it offers a maximum power of 250 W. The device works at a frequency of 50 Hz, and its spectral wavelength ranges from 2 – 25 um. The optional device height is 140 cm, and the extension range of the movable arm is then 0 to 44 cm.
When it comes to use, the manufacturer recommends aiming the lamp’s light at the exposed bare area at the site of pain, with the lamp itself positioned away from the body. The length of one session should be from 15 to 30 minutes (but not longer than 45 minutes). Depending on your condition and pain, it is recommended to use it 1 – 2 times per day for 7 – 10 days.
In the sales package you’ll find the product itself, meaning the TDP lamp with an integrated stand, as well as a power cable for the mains with a local connector (EU Plug, 220 – 240 V/ 50 – 60 Hz). There’s also a set of manufacturer stickers, a product certificate, and a brief user manual and first setup guide for the device in English.
