Suitable for all weather
Thanks to its solid body, which is impact-resistant from a height of up to 1,5 m and IPX8 certification, with the Astrolux FT02S you can take it with you practically everywhere. Considering the performance, the dimensions are very compact (147,4 mm x 54,5 mm x 34 mm) so you don’t have to worry that it will take up lots of space—for example in your backpack. Weight is a nice 275 g without the battery.
In terms of illumination itself, four powerful XHP50.2 Ultra Bright LED bulbs take care of it, ensuring that even in the darkest environment you’ll bring a bit of white daylight. The maximum throw provided by the manufacturer is 546 meters with the highest luminous flux 11 000 lumens (102 280 CD). The color temperature of the light is 6500 K.
The SST-40 LED bulb, on the other hand, has a maximum throw of 639 meters, a luminous flux of 7000 lumens, or a light intensity of 74 600 CD.
As for the user interface, the Astrolux FT02S comes with firmware Anduril UI, which offers a choice of multiple lighting modes such as ramping, muggle mode, stepped ramping, and many more.
Charging batteries—unfortunately not included in the package—takes place via the USB Type-C port. In the box you’ll also find a lanyard for grip, a pair of replacement water-resistant seals, a user manual, and of course the flashlight itself.
