During the Magic9 phone premiere, Honor also unveiled two new tablets. MagicPad 4 12.1 is the smaller and more affordable version of the June MagicPad 4, while Honor Tablet X10 Pro Max goes for a 13″ display at a lower price. Both come with a 10,100 mAh battery and are currently sold only in China.
MagicPad 4 12,1: LCD instead of OLED
Don’t mix up the new model with the MagicPad 4 that Honor launched in June—it's got a 12,3″ OLED display and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. MagicPad 4 12,1 features a smaller 12,1″ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1 872 × 3 000 pixels, a refresh rate of 165 Hz, and a brightness of 700 nits.
Inside, you’ll find a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 with either 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, while the battery is the same as on the bigger model—10 100 mAh—and it supports 66 W charging. On the back, there’s a 13 MPx camera, and on the front, an 8 MPx one. According to the GSMArena portal, the tablet runs MagicOS 10 on Android 16, and both versions come with only Wi-Fi.
Honor Tablet X10 Pro Max with a 13″ display
The cheaper Tablet X10 Pro Max comes with a larger 13″ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2 500 × 1 560 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and 700 nits brightness. Inside, it has a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 with 8 GB RAM and 128 or 256 GB storage.
It also has a 10 100 mAh battery, but it charges more slowly—only 45 W. The cameras on both the front and back are 5 MPx, and the tablet is sold in green and gray.
Prices in China and availability here
The MagicPad 4 12,1 costs in China from 4 199 yuan (about 550 €) for the 8 + 256 GB version, and the version with 12 GB RAM comes to 4 699 yuan. The Tablet X10 Pro Max is cheaper, starting at 2 599 yuan—roughly 340 €.
Honor has not yet announced global versions. However, the larger MagicPad 4 with an OLED display can also be bought from a warehouse in the EU, and we wrote about it in August.
