3200 W of power and great range
The new electric scooter is brought to you by the popular strong-scooter brand Laotie. Power is handled by a pair of motors, each rated at 1600 W. With both axles driven, the total output is 3200 W, which is enough for a comfortable ride even on hilly terrain. The maximum grade it can handle is up to 35°.
With this kind of power, you can reach 70 km/h. However, it can be limited to 25 km/h with a double press of the button on the remote control. The manufacturer states a maximum range of up to 120 km. Of course, this depends on your riding style, rider weight, and the terrain you’re riding on. The maximum load the scooter can handle is an impressive 200 kg. So it can take anyone without any problem.
At the bottom, there’s a 52V 33.6 Ah battery made up of Li-ion 21700 cells. It features several safety mechanisms that protect it against overvoltage, short circuit, overheating, and other unwanted issues. Dual charging is available to reduce charging time.
Shock absorbers, brakes and other features
For this type of scooter, good suspension is a given. There’s a standard shock absorber at the back, while in front you’ll find a massive fork.
As we already mentioned in the introduction, you can choose between off-road or road tires. In both cases, they have 10″ and they are tubeless. You’ll also appreciate the quality hydraulic ZOOM brakes. They’re more efficient, easier to control, and have a quicker response compared to classic cable/mechanical brakes.
The scooter also stands out with its lighting. Besides the standard lights, you’ll find turn signals in the front and rear, plus a striking, colorful LED under-deck backlight.
