Gaming chairs are especially popular with the growing possibility of working from home as an element of the living room or office—not only for work, but also for leisure time. The model NICK NK01 has fixed armrests, as well as high load capacity of 115 kilograms, together with a footrest.

We tested the chair: It’s very comfortable
The gaming chair labeled Nick NK01 was sent to us by the shop Banggood for testing as soon as it went on sale. We were looking forward to it, because for quite a while no gaming chair from our Chinese partners had been available after all BlitzWolf and Douxlife chairs were basically pulled from sale—except for the model Douxlife GC-RC03 with massage, which often kept dropping out.
We received the black color, which arrived in a fairly large box with a weight of 18 kg (the chair itself weighs 16 kg). Putting it together wasn’t complicated at all, and the package also includes a simple manual along with the necessary screws and the key for assembly. Assembly took us about 30 minutes, including a break.
Very comfortable materials
We also rate the material used on the seat and cushion surfaces positively, because it’s a very soft and comfortable faux leather. Of course, this material has a downside in warm weather—sweating. Otherwise, for long gaming sessions, Nick NK01 will be a pleasant companion.
The footrest is, as with other similar Chinese chairs, unstable—and we still don’t understand how the Chinese can count on it keeping our European legs firmly in place. If we were to use the chair regularly, we would confidently skip the footrest.
A big advantage is the wide seating area
Compared to chairs like BlitzWolf BW-GC6 from the brand Nick, this one has a much more comfortable and larger seat, meaning even bigger people can fit in and no cushion or backrest will bother them from the sides.
We also think very highly of the sturdy armrests, because on other China models we had experience with adjustable armrests that were simply unstable—when resting your elbows, they would move and have play. That was a real annoyance for us.
The chair is well adjustable in terms of the recline of the backrest. Taller people would probably appreciate a higher adjustable seat-back height, but for a person 180 – 190 cm, the maximum height is definitely sufficient.
NICK NK01: Load capacity 115 kg, armrests, and also the footrest
A solid gaming chair frame named NICK NK01 includes a metal frame with swivel wheels and a hinge that rotates 360°, as well as soft, shaped cushions for comfortable seating, comfortably even for several hours.
The chair design differs in black / blue colorways, and the design of the pair of supporting cushions is also different. The overall dimensions of this model are 122 – 130 x 59 x 50 centimeters.
So you can adjust the seat height (from 44 to 52 cm), as well as the armrests, the footrest, and the option to recline the backrest up to an angle of 160°. The user’s maximum load capacity tops out at 115 kilograms.
Spine support while seated, swivels up to 360° and SGS certification
The seat offers 12 cm of foam material with a shaping option and a high level of tissue regeneration back to its original shape. The cover is made of PVC material, and the backrest is shaped to support the spine during long sitting.
You can also secure or allow it for slight rocking. The air tube for raising or lowering the seat has some play of up to 80 mm and has also passed the well-known SGS certification.
The package includes the gaming chair itself labeled NICK NK01. You’ll also find accessories for attaching the individual parts, seat cushions for comfortable sitting, as well as a brief instruction manual for assembling the chair, in English.
