Baseus PrimeTrip VC2 Flex with a gel suction cup costs 13 € and holds the phone with a magnet force of up to 35 N. The pricier PrimeTrip C03sPro at 19 € charges it wirelessly while driving with up to 15 W. Both are now for half the usual price.

The mounts are sold directly by the official Baseus European store and shipped from an EU warehouse, so you don’t pay customs duty or VAT. Delivery to Slovakia takes 14 to 20 business days according to the store. However, for orders under 60 €, shipping is 6,99 €, so it’s worth adding them to a larger order—e.g., to a power bank or a charger from the Baseus Halloween sale.

VC2 Flex: A suction cup that won’t let go
The cheaper VC2 Flex uses a gel suction cup instead of an adhesive strip. You place it on the dashboard and, by turning the base, you suction out the air. According to the manufacturer, it holds firmly even on bumpy roads, and when you want to move it, you release it with one twist. Just wash the gel with water and the suction cup holds again, leaving no marks on the dashboard even after years.
The magnet holds the phone with up to 35 N. iPhone 12 and newer attach directly to it; older iPhones and Android phones use the included magnetic ring. The arm rotates overall by 720° in three axes, so you can turn the phone to portrait or landscape, and when you don’t need it, you fold the mount flat.
Not just for the car
Since the suction cup sticks to any smooth surface, VC2 Flex can also be used outside the car—e.g., on the kitchen counter while cooking as shown in the video, on a desk in the office, or on the bathroom tile. However, according to the manufacturer, it’s not suitable for rough, ridged, or overly curved surfaces.
C03sPro: The phone charges while driving
The pricier C03sPro wirelessly charges the phone while driving with up to 15 W, so even after a longer trip with navigation, you’ll get out with a full battery. The magnet automatically centers the phone and charging is temperature-controlled so it doesn’t overheat behind the glass in summer. It powers via a cable from the USB port in the car or from a car charger.
The magnets have a strength of 20 N and with the included ring up to 25 N, which is enough even for larger phones in a case. As with the VC2 Flex, iPhone 12 and newer attach directly, and other phones attach via the magnetic ring.
Two flexible arms instead of a joint
Instead of one joint, C03sPro has two arms made of soft aluminum that you can bend into any shape and that won’t wobble on uneven surfaces. Each arm has a small base with an adhesive strip 3M, so you can stick the mount to the dashboard and even near the edge of the display. Two replacement strips are included in the package.
If you only need to hold and charge your phone with a cable, you’re fine with the cheaper VC2 Flex, which is also easy to move. C03sPro is worth it when you go on longer trips with navigation and don’t want to plug in your phone every time. A buyer from Romania on the Baseus webshop praises that it’s very solid and versatile.
