Security cameras are an essential part of every modern-equipped home today. They also make sense for smart homes. That’s why it’s good to know which outdoor cameras are the most cost-effective. This particular outdoor security camera with FullHD resolution and especially support for a 4G / SIM card thanks to the new coupon doesn’t cost even 100 €.
Benefits of buying products from China via China PlanetShowCustoms-free shipping from China
Once again, the seller was the well-known online store Banggood. The camera is kept in a Chinese warehouse, so we recommend choosing shipping via EU Priority Line. Thanks to it, you won’t pay VAT or customs duty. The camera is also available in a European warehouse, but the price there is less favorable.
Plus, in this specific case, the delivery all the way to your home via a courier service is completely free, which definitely will please you. In the end, you’ll get the product for just 15 within 20 business days.
Outdoor camera with multiple features
This handy gadget will serve as good home protection. It has a 92-degree viewing angle and supports video streaming up to FullHD, but at a lower frame rate of 15 fps. However, that’s fully sufficient for a security camera.
Because there’s a small solar panel on the top, the camera can also generate its own source of electricity, which is a great plus. For 4 hours in direct sunlight, it can run for an entire day.
This outdoor security camera relies on AA batteries
The camera runs on batteries, so you mustn’t forget to charge it after a certain time without sunlight, or to replace the pair of AA batteries. It also doesn’t lack a microphone, a motion detector, or an internet connection—thanks to WiFi and a slot for a SIM card, through which the camera connects to a mobile data network, including the 4G LTE band.
In the package, you’ll of course find the camera itself, two batteries, but also a USB cable, a user manual, screws, and a mount. That way, you can attach the device to the exterior wall of your house.
It will work perfectly well during night hours too
You don’t need to worry about night hours either, because this camera automatically recognizes whether it’s day or night. In case of night, a night mode activates, which significantly improves its visibility. When it comes to saving recordings, there are two options.
One of them is saving to a microSD card, which you insert into the camera in advance. The other—more data-demanding version—is saving to a cloud storage. However, if you use it to monitor the area in real time, you don’t need to worry.
As we mentioned earlier, this outdoor security camera also supports live streaming. By the way, in standby mode this device stays charged for up to a whole year. Finally, we’ll also mention its durability according to the IP67 certification.
Motion detection then helps save the camera’s overall battery life. If you turn on this mode, the camera will record only when something is moving in the image.
So if you’re looking for a great—and above all, cheap—security camera, this one should be on your shortlist.
