Extreme 20 000 Pa power and carpet recognition
Suction power at the level of 20,000 Pa is among the absolute top in the world of home robotic vacuums. JONR X1 Max uses the TroboWave DuoBrush system with two main rollers and multiple anti-tangle elements that significantly reduce the risk of hair or pet fur getting wrapped around the brush. That makes the machine ideal for homes with pets or long hair—you’ll have to clean the brush far less often.
With carpets, the vacuum can automatically recognize the surface type and choose the right cleaning strategy. It can lift the mop completely and just vacuum the carpet, enable a carpet boost with higher power, or turn the mop off entirely and switch to deep fiber cleaning mode. That way, it handles both low-pile rugs and higher, fluffier carpets without unnecessary over-wetting.
Rotating retractable mop with hot water and drying
For wet cleaning, a pair of rotating mops takes care of it. They can extend all the way into corners and along walls, and then retract back under the vacuum body. The robot presses the mop pads to the floor and, together with high RPMs, can effectively remove even dried stains in the kitchen or hallway.
Multifunctional station ensures full care for the mops. Here it performs hot-water washing at a temperature of 75 °C, automatic cleaning, and then drying with hot air at approximately 45 °C. In practice, the mops don’t smell, you don’t have to wash them by hand, and the floor is always cleaned with freshly rinsed pads—especially useful in homes with children or allergy sufferers.
AI camera, 150+ object types, and precise navigation
JONR X1 Max combines an LDS laser with a vertical 3D LiDAR tower and an RGB AI camera at the front. This combination allows the vacuum to recognize more than 150 types of items—from kids’ toys to pet food bowls and even cables or shoes. Animal waste is also not a problem—it’s better skipped than smeared across the whole room.
The robot can create up to four separate maps for different floors with millimeter-level accuracy, and thanks to the dock-free function it can move between them smoothly. Just take it to another floor, it will orient itself based on the surrounding environment, and continue cleaning according to that floor’s room layout plan.
Intelligent zoning, edge cleaning, and a 30 mm lift
In the Xiaomi Home app, you can set detailed cleaning schedules for individual rooms and precise no-go zones. You can draw virtual walls with an accuracy of about 5 cm, so you can easily protect, for example, a kids’ corner or a flower stand. The robot learns problematic areas and automatically flags them as risky during future cleanings.
Edge cleaning is handled by the retractable side brush and retractable mop, which work in tandem – the system can clean even gaps as narrow as 1 mm. The dual floor sensor activates chassis height adjustment, allowing the JONR X1 Max to overcome obstacles of up to 30 mm without losing power and without the risk of getting stuck on a thicker edge.
A beefy base with separate tanks
The station has a separate tank for clean and dirty water, a large dust bag, and automatic water refilling as well as draining. Fresh water with a volume of more than 4 liters is enough for many mopping cycles, while the dirty water tank captures all waste from the mops, so you won’t come into contact with it.
The vacuum has a 320 ml dust container inside, which the station automatically empties into a 3-liter bag. The manufacturer claims an autonomy of up to about 2.5 months without any user intervention in a typical home. Combined with automatic mopping washing and drying, it’s practically a complete low-maintenance solution.
App control, voice assistants, and long battery life
You control the robot vacuum through a clear mobile app, where you can set the cleaning schedule, suction and mopping intensity, or special modes for specific rooms. Voice commands via Amazon Alexa and Google Home are also supported, so you can start vacuuming with a command when you leave home.
Inside the robot, a 5200 mAh battery delivers up to 150 minutes of cleaning and covers over 200 m² on a single charge, according to the manufacturer. Once the battery runs low, the JONR X1 Max automatically returns to the station, recharges the needed power, and if necessary continues exactly where it left off.
