The electric-scooter maker Nami introduces a new model, Nami Klima Max, which combines the great riding characteristics of its sibling, the Burn-E 2, with more compact dimensions and weight. However, this still isn’t a fully tiny scooter, given its key specifications and its use-case.

Nami Klima Max: Designed for performance and riding comfort

The e-scooter comes with a fairly simple matte black design, but it has everything important it needs and, at first glance, makes it clear what its primary purpose is—great performance and a great riding feel.

With its specifications, the Nami Klima Max is quite compact; however, with a weight of 38 kg, it’s still not a scooter you’ll normally carry around by hand. You get an all-in-one aluminum frame with a weather-and-heat protective coating, plus a high-hold stem with electronics and ergonomic handlebars. The battery is housed inside the body and is fully protected against rain and moisture.

As for the size, the model comes with dimensions of 128.5 x 23 x 123 cm. One of the important factors—the standing area with a rough surface and excellent grip—is more than sufficient here, so you’ll be taken care of with comfortable standing during the ride.

The construction is foldable, so even with its weight it won’t take up much space when carrying. The Nami Klima Max includes a certified water-protection rating of IPX5, so you can ride without worry in worse weather or the rain.

Top-class acceleration thanks to a pair of motors

Right away, the scooter makes it clear how much power it has—thanks to the dual 1000 W motors. The maximum speed here is capped at a brutal 67 km/h, but in our case it will be limited to 25 km/h at first.

Brutal acceleration lets this scooter reach 48 km/h in under 5 seconds, so you’ll surprise people and overtake more than one driver. You control the level of performance with a sensitive “finger” controller on the right side of the handlebars.

10″ tubeless tires

Riding comfort is also ensured by 10″ tubeless tires, along with fenders and hydraulic 160 mm disc brakes, which—when needed—bring the scooter to a stop very quickly (even with the optional adjustable recuperation setting).

Thanks to suspension, the tires handle even tougher road bumps, and you don’t need to worry about any noticeable steep climbs or wet roads—plus you can even ride off-road.

The scooter features an adjustable hydraulic suspension system that gives you very good riding comfort, whether you’re looking for the softest, most comfortable ride or a firmer, sportier suspension setup. Battery life that you’ll really appreciate

The Nami Klima Max comes with a high-capacity battery. You get a premium 30 Ah battery with quality 21700 Panasonic cells, delivering 1800 Wh capacity or even 85 km of range at a speed of around 25 km/h. Of course, with a more aggressive riding style the capacity drops, but it’s still an excellent set of figures.

The e-scooter comes with the original 60V / 5A charger, which means charging the battery from 0 to 100 % takes approximately 5 hours.

More useful features of Nami Klima Max

On the e-scooter’s handlebars, you’ll find a handy color display that shows you all the information you need while riding, such as your current speed, remaining range, and the riding mode you’re using.

The controls for riding modes are right next to the display, and from the five available you can choose the one that fits the occasion and your mood—whether you’re trying to save battery life, aiming for maximum performance, or going for some kind of compromise. The parameters that riding modes affect are: the initial and maximum output of each motor, top speed, the level of recuperation, or the level of temporary “turbo performance boost”.

The e-scooter also includes built-in lighting. At the front, you get LED lighting with a brightness of 2000 lumens. There are also LED diodes above the wheel at the back, plus side LED diodes that work like “turn signals. 300 W charger helps you charge the e-scooter in about about 10 hours.
