SmartAI V6 vs Laresar V11 vs COTIAR R11 vs JIMMY H10 Flex: Which stick vacuum should you choose?

Chinese stick vacuums are today the fastest-growing category in the home, and the reason is simple: for the price of one Dyson attachment, you get a complete vacuum. The problem is that on paper, each one looks like the winner. One boasts 75 000 Pa, another 50 kPa, the third 245 AW — and those are three different units that can’t be converted between each other.

That’s why we picked four models that we broke down on China Planet and, in two cases, also tested at home for real: SmartAI V6, Laresar V11, COTIAR R11, and JIMMY H10 Flex. We’ll go through them spec by spec, and in the end we’ll clearly say who should buy which one.

The table also includes data we measured ourselves and the data provided by the manufacturer — for each item it’s marked. Where we didn’t test a model, we left it blank rather than mixing methodologies.

Suction power: why those numbers can’t be directly compared

This is the most important thing in the whole comparison. Laresar V11 delivers 75,000 Pa, SmartAI V6 65,000 Pa, and COTIAR R11 50 kPa — which is basically the same as 50,000 Pa. It looks like a clear ranking, but Chinese manufacturers measure suction pressure at the engine inlet, not at the end of the nozzle. Real-world performance on the floor is always lower, and the difference between 65,000 and 75,000 Pa won’t be noticeable during normal vacuuming. JIMMY H10 Flex complicates it even more: it claims 245 AW (air watts), and there’s no direct conversion between AW and Pa.

So what matters in practice? With SmartAI V6, we found in our review that on laminate flooring and tiles, dust disappears with brushwork often already on the very first pass — and the lowest mode is enough for most people. With JIMMY H10 Flex, we rated the cleaning performance as excellent — it was noticeably better than the Dreame T20 with 150 AW, which we used until then. That’s why the winner of this category is a tie between SmartAI V6 and JIMMY H10 Flex, because these are the only two models we actually measured. Laresar V11 and COTIAR R11 have the numbers on their side, but without our test, we can’t place them higher than that.

Battery life: here the ranking flips

On paper, the numbers clearly favor Laresar V11 — 90 minutes in ECO, 60 minutes in Standard, and 30 minutes in Turbo mode. It also has a removable battery made of six cells (4500 mAh each), so you can simply buy a second one. SmartAI V6 promises 80 minutes and COTIAR R11 one hour, which should be enough for about 200 m².

The real story is more interesting. We ran SmartAI V6 for a full cleanup of an 81 m² apartment, and in ECO mode it still had about 55–60% battery left — meaning it could practically do another full round. JIMMY H10 Flex turned out worst: with the electric nozzle, we measured 47 minutes in ECO, under 18 minutes in Turbo, and 9 minutes and 37 seconds in Max mode. In a larger apartment, that means vacuuming on the weakest mode or charging in the middle of cleaning. In this category, SmartAI V6 beats Laresar V11 — and JIMMY is clearly last.

Weight and handling: the difference you feel after just five minutes

This is a parameter that people often overlook in spec tables, even though it determines whether you’ll actually use the vacuum in real life. Laresar V11 weighs 1.79 kilograms, so it’s in a class of its own. With that kind of weight, you can vacuum cobwebs on the ceiling or the top edge of a cabinet without your arm getting tired. SmartAI V6 and COTIAR R11 are around three kilograms, which is completely typical for this category.

JIMMY H10 Flex with its 4.3 kilograms is the heaviest, but in our review we noticed one important thing: when vacuuming the floor, you don’t feel the weight, because it’s carried by the nozzle with good wheels. The problem only starts when you use it as a handheld vacuum with a passive attachment. The interesting part is that the main unit with the battery itself weighs 1.9 kg. With COTIARe R11, customers highlight the low weight specifically when vacuuming stairs. So the winner is Cotiar R11.

Filtration and maintenance: the cheapest model surprisingly wins

COTIAR R11, the cheapest unit in this comparison, has a seven-layer filtration system with a dual cyclone, plus a HEPA H14 filter that captures 99% of dirt. For allergy sufferers, that’s a crucial difference compared to budget vacuums with a single foam filter. And in the box you also get three replacement filters, so you don’t have to worry about consumables for the first year.

Laresar V11 also has a seven-stage filtration system and three HEPA filters in the box, plus three cleaning pads and a cleaning knife — so it’s very close. SmartAI V6 offers a standard HEPA filtration with one replacement filter included and the largest dust bin in this comparison (about 1.6 liters). JIMMY H10 Flex, on the other hand, has the smallest dust bin (600 ml), but all internal components and the filter are washable. Winner: COTIAR R11 thanks to the H14 class — right after it, Laresar V11.

Light for dust and display: what will you actually use

Green illumination on the nozzle used to be Dyson’s domain, and today every model in this comparison has it except the JIMMY H10 Flex, which has classic white LEDs. Laresar V11 goes the furthest — it has a real green laser that highlights even the finest particles on the floor. COTIAR R11 and SmartAI V6 use green LEDs, which creates a gentler effect, but it works just as well to help you see what you missed.

With displays, it’s just a matter of preference. SmartAI V6 shows battery capacity in percentages and flashes when it drops below 10 %. COTIAR R11 has a round LED display with a light ring that changes color depending on the mode—green for ECO, blue for the middle setting, purple for maximum—so you can see at a glance what you’re vacuuming with. JIMMY H10 Flex, on the other hand, has a solution that disappointed us in the review: instead of capacity, it shows only the remaining time until the battery is depleted, so you get no other information about the battery status.

Flexibility and reach under the furniture

Here, JIMMY H10 Flex has its only category where it has no competition. Inside the metal wand there’s a joint with a flexible tube that bends up to 90 degrees when you press the button. That way you can get under the sofa, under the bed, and under low cabinets without having to bend over or lift the furniture. When you return to the straight position, the latch locks in automatically.

The other three models solve reach differently. COTIAR R11 has a motorized nozzle that swivels 180 degrees to the sides and tilts down 90 degrees, so you can reach under low furniture too — just not as deep as JIMMY. With SmartAI V6 and Laresare V11 it’s a classic design with a rigid wand; for the Laresar, low weight helps with this and enables a fast transformation into a handheld vacuum. If you have a lot of low furniture at home, JIMMY H10 Flex is the clear winner.

As a bonus, with the JIMMY H10 Flex you also get a mopping attachment. However, you’ll have to pay extra for it — its price is a little over 200 € — but with this vacuum cleaner you effectively get a complete set of equipment.

Final verdict: which one to choose

If you want peace of mind and don’t want to overthink it, buy the SmartAI V6. It’s one of two models in this comparison that we tested in a real apartment, and it also includes a video review plus a two-year warranty from the official seller. After cleaning 81 m², its battery was still at more than half. It has the largest dust container and a weight that won’t surprise anyone. It’s not the absolute best in anything, but it’s also not weak at anything.

If you have someone with allergies or pets at home, get the COTIAR R11. The H14 HEPA filter with seven-layer filtration is above standard at this price level, and three replacement filters included in the package mean you won’t need to buy extra for a full year. At the same time, it’s the cheapest model in the comparison, and the color light ring is a feature you’ll use every day.

If you vacuum stairs, your car, or tall shelves, get Laresar V11. At 1.79 kg, the weight is in a league of its own, and the removable battery lets you buy a second one so you can vacuum for twice as long. It’s also the only model with a real green laser.

Buy JIMMY H10 Flex when you care about mopping and a better battery — The one thing none of the models above has is exactly the mopping attachment. It’s also known that Jimmy, a brand from the Xiaomi ecosystem, uses higher-quality battery cells that should last longer than no-name cells in other cheaper models. Jimmy also has its own distribution in the EU, so getting a replacement part isn’t a problem—this is an added value, but you’ll have to pay a bit more.
