Self-cleaning litter boxes from well-known brands typically cost around 400 € in Slovak shops, so many cat owners are still avoiding them. Teendow CLB10 can be bought from a European warehouse for about a third of that price—plus it has a mobile app, a waste bin with an 8-liter capacity, and three safety systems that stop cleaning when the cat approaches.
A toilet that cleans up for you, from a European warehouse
Teendow CLB10 is sold by GShopper and shipped from a European warehouse, so it should arrive in Slovakia in about a week. VAT is already included in the price and you pay nothing on delivery, because you’re not affected by either customs duty or the new shipping fee for packages from China.

A third of Petkit’s price, and a bigger waste bin
The most well-known self-cleaning toilets on Heureka cost significantly more. The open Neakasa M1 starts at about €374, and Petkit Pura Max 2 in the Premium version is €399, while you can buy the Teendow CLB10 with a coupon for under 130 €. The trash bin on the Teendow has a capacity of 8 liters—actually slightly larger than the Neakasa M1’s 7.17 liters—and according to the manufacturer, with one cat you can empty it once every 12 to 15 days.
However, for the price difference you do get something. Petkit and Neakasa are proven brands with lots of reviews and weighing sensors that, in the app, can even distinguish multiple cats. Teendow is a new brand for us; on GShopper it currently has no ratings at all, and the manufacturer doesn’t state what cat weight the litter box is intended for. If you have one cat and don’t want to pay 400 € for a self-cleaning litter box, this is a sensible way to try out this type of litter box.
The app tells you how often your cat goes to the toilet
You control the litter box with buttons and a display on the front, or via the mobile app. In it, you see when the cat used the litter box; the app compiles an overview of how often it goes, and it also sends you important events as notifications to your mobile. Changing the number of visits is often the first sign of health problems, so it’s worth keeping track even when you’re on vacation.
You can start cleaning right away, or set a delay so the drum doesn’t rotate until the cat has moved away. There’s also a child lock that locks the buttons, and a night mode in which the litter box doesn’t clean at night and won’t wake the household.
Three safety locks so nothing happens to your cat
For a self-cleaning litter box, safety is the most important thing—and Teendow handles it in three ways. An anti-squeezing sensor stops movement as soon as something is touched, a Hall sensor together with an infrared sensor detects that the cat is approaching and does not start cleaning, and the gearbox rotates intermittently, so the drum never spins without a break.
You can put bentonite, mixed, tofu, or cassava litter into the box—the main thing is that it clumps. After the cat leaves, the drum sieves the litter through a grid, and the clumps fall into the closed bin under it, so clean litter stays in the litter box and you don’t have to grab a scoop anymore.
The smell stays inside and you wash the drum under the shower
The waste bin slides into the bottom part, and odors are captured by a separate cleaning compartment on the side of the litter box. You also get a thick, three-layer mat that captures litter from the cat’s paws at the entrance, so the cat doesn’t spread it around the apartment.
The drum and the grid can be removed and washed with water, so with thorough cleaning you don’t have to scrub the whole device. Just count on the dimensions, though, because the litter box is 60 cm tall and 52 cm wide, and it won’t fit in a narrow bathroom under the sink.
