A smaller 52 cc chainsaw with an 18″ bar will set you back with a coupon for 83 €, and for firewood at home or trimming branches in your garden, it’s more than enough. A stronger 58 cc model with a 20″ bar costs only a little more—by under €5—and it’s worth it if you cut thicker logs more often.
Our fan tested it—there’s plenty of power

Boris tested the previous generation, which had the same 52 cc engine and 18″ bar, so his experience shows well what you can expect from the new saw.
Engine 52 cc or 58 cc
The smaller saw has an engine displacement of 52 cm³ and a power of 2.4 hp (1.8 kW), while the larger one has 58 cm³ and 2.7 hp (2 kW). Both spin up to 11,800 RPM, so the chain won’t jam in wood even if it’s harder.
The main difference is the bar. The smaller saw has an 18″ bar (455 mm), which cuts logs up to a diameter of 43 cm, while the larger one has a 20″ bar (508 mm) for logs up to 45.5 cm. With a longer bar, thick logs are easier to cut because you don’t have to maneuver the saw as much.
Cold and hot start + emergency stop
For a cold start, just press the fuel primer bulb, close the choke, pull the starter cord, then open the choke. The warm saw starts right after you pull the cord. The extended starter cord makes starting even easier.
For safety, there’s a chain brake in the front handle that stops the saw immediately if it kicks back, plus a cover that catches flying chips. You won’t start it by accident, because you have to press the throttle and the switch at the same time.
Comfortable handle and durable housing
The anti-slip handle is shaped to fit the palm, so your hands won’t get tired during longer cutting. The housing is made of PA6 with 30% glass fibers, so it won’t crack in winter or in summer heat, and the tanks don’t leak.
Larger tanks for longer work
The fuel tank has a capacity of 550 ml and the chain oil tank is 260 ml, so you don’t have to top up after every log. The saw runs on a petrol-oil mix in a 40 : 1 ratio, and the mixing bottle plus a funnel are included in the box. Chain tension is adjusted with the side tension screw.
In the box, besides the saw itself, you also get the bar cover, a fuel-mixing container, a funnel, wrenches, a chain sharpening file, and ear plugs—so you can start working right after unboxing.
