Cold plunging is no longer the privilege of a few enthusiasts throwing themselves into the Danube in January. The hook is the price— a proper tub for an ice bath usually costs several hundred euros. VEVOR JC-02 goes the other way entirely: it’s a collapsible cold plunging tub with an inflatable rim that holds almost 400 liters of water, costs under €60, and after use it folds into a shoulder bag. And since it ships from the EU warehouse, you’ll have it at home in just a few days.
Cold plunging tub at a great price
You can find the VEVOR JC-02 ice bath tub at the trusted VEVOR seller. It’s located right in the EU warehouse, which means delivery in 2 to 4 days and no extra fees! Don’t forget to use the coupon from the price box, too.
You can choose from three sizes that differ by diameter — 80, 85 and 90 cm at the same height of 75 cm. The best-seller is the 85 cm one, where you sit upright and the water reaches your shoulders. If you’re over 190 cm tall or want to have room in the bathtub for your knees as well, add an extra for the ninety.

What customers say about the tub
On the seller’s page, the model has a rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars from 138 verified purchases, with reviews that are short and revolve around two things—setup and delivery. The German customer Django (July 29) simply writes that it’s a “super tub for ice, easy to set up”. A French buyer from July 8 praises the build quality and that both setup and actual use are hassle-free. Another French customer from August 12 highlights fast delivery—his order arrived without any waiting.
398 liters of water and space for you to sit upright
The outer dimensions 85 × 75 cm sound compact, but the inner diameter is 79 cm and the depth is about 66 cm. That’s enough for you to sit straight and submerge up to your shoulders instead of having to hunch like in a barrel. The manufacturer states a maximum capacity of 398 liters and recommends it for people up to 210 cm tall.
A practical detail you don’t often see in this price range: the package includes a water-filled cushion measuring 36,5 × 25 cm that you place on the bottom and use as a seat. Without it, you’d be sitting directly on the foil above the ground, so the comfort difference is noticeable.
A three-layer shell that keeps the cold in, even in sub-zero temperatures
This is the parameter where cheap tubs usually fall apart. VEVOR JC-02 has a three-layer construction—PVC on the inside, pearl cotton lined on both sides in the middle, and waterproof PVC with a nylon weave on the outside. The middle insulation layer is why the ice in the tub doesn’t disappear in half an hour—and why you can use the same cold water the next day too.
The declared temperature range is −20 to 60 °C, so you can safely leave the tub outside on your terrace through winter. In the manufacturer’s direct answers to a customer question, they state that both the material and the drain valve can handle frost down to −25 °C. Included in the box is also a 2-in-1 thermal and anti-dust cover that prevents leaves from falling into your water.
You set it up yourself in a few minutes and drain it just as quickly
The tub stands on six reinforcing rods that keep the shell shape, and on top it’s strengthened with an inflatable ring with a 0.45 mm wall thickness. It also works as a headrest, so you won’t be bumping your back. A manual pump is included—you don’t need an electric one.
The draining is handled by a pair of outlets — side drain pipe with 1/2″ valve and a bottom outlet. In practice, this means you can route the water through a hose into a drain without having to tip over a 400-liter tub. After drying, everything folds up into the included 210D nylon bag with a zipper, measuring 75 × 44 cm, while the empty tub weighs just 3.8 kg.
Why an ice bath in the first place
Immersing in cold water after training is one of the oldest recovery methods and today it’s used even by casual athletes — it helps reduce muscle soreness and swelling after a workout, boosts blood circulation, and is simply a cheaper alternative to a cryo chamber. Hardening enthusiasts also add regular immune system stimulation.
At the same time, it’s worth noting that it’s an inflatable tub, not a whirlpool — it has no filtration, heating, or cooling, so you have to buy the ice yourself and change the water regularly. If you’re looking for a device that keeps a constant 5 °C without your involvement, this isn’t it. If you want to try hardening at home for under 60 €, it’s hard to find a more sensible starting point.
