Vivo X200 Ultra is the king of mobile photography, which you can’t officially buy on our market. Jaroslav Čekan is proof that advanced camera gear is only useful when it’s in the hands of a skilled photographer. On Facebook, he keeps posting more viral photos, this time taken with Vivo X200 Ultra, which he swapped for his last year’s Vivo X100 Ultra. The results are once again fabulous, and even some commenters don’t believe they’re real. But the Slovak really did take them using only a smartphone.

Macro is the area where Vivo X200 Ultra smashes the competition. See for yourself – these insect macro photos look absolutely amazing, and the photographer has to have a lot of patience. So far, he managed to produce these 4 shots, which he posted in a Facebook group dedicated to last year’s Vivo X100 series.
The 3.7x telephoto lens of the Vivo X200 Ultra was inherited from its predecessor, the Vivo X100 Ultra. It therefore comes with a 200 MPx sensor with an aperture f/2.3, 85 mm focal length, and it also features optical image stabilization—without which these wonders wouldn’t be possible. Since it’s a telephoto lens, it has a fairly large 1/1.4″ sensor capable of capturing macro shots in a 3.4:1 ratio.
There’s no doubt about its quality. We’ll add that the device has a 50 MPx (f/1.7) primary camera, whose sensor shrank across generations from 1 inch to 1/1.28″. However, it still includes gimbal optical stabilization. The third sensor on the back is a 50 MPx (f/2.0) ultra-wide-angle sensor with a 116-degree field of view, and even here OIS isn’t missing.

As we hinted earlier, unfortunately the Vivo X200 Ultra is available only on the Chinese market. That said, it doesn’t change the fact that importing it is possible. Plus, it impresses with other specs too, such as the top chipset Snadpragon 8 Elite.
It’s a Chinese version of the smartphone, but it supports all our networks. The system is available in English (Czech and Slovak are missing), it supports all Google services, Google Play can be installed, and you can pay with Google Pay.
Of course, it supports OTA system updates. The smartphone has standard manufacturer support. The charger will come with a Chinese plug — you’ll need a reducer — and it also supports Widevine Level 1 for streaming in full quality.
