Looking back at an older flagship model is never a bad idea. And even more so when it’s a quality OnePlus 5T. Surprisingly, it showed up with our favorite seller at an amazing price under €250! You won’t miss out on an AMOLED display, still enough memory, and the 16 + 20 MPx cameras.
We’ve used this model ourselves and during two years in the editorial office we were extremely satisfied. Later we switched to the OnePlus 7T Pro for the sake of staying current in the tech segment, but with the OnePlus 5T we only have good memories—especially the 3.5 mm audio jack and compact dimensions with low weight.
Benefits of buying products from China via China PlanetShowFormer flagship with a price under 250 €
About three three years ago, the OnePlus 5T was a flagship phone from a Chinese company. Today, it’s among the affordable yet powerful smartphones. You can get it from the Banggood seller with reliable EU Priority Line shipping—so you won’t pay extra customs duty or VAT.
Still not a bad deal
Even if you tell yourself that a three-year-old smartphone is long past its prime, the OnePlus 5T still has plenty to offer. Its strong points include a beautiful 6.01″ AMOLED display, and also a quality American processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, which at the time was a flagship.
It’s manufactured using a 10 nm process technology, and it easily outperforms some mid-range processors used today, such as the Snapdragon 720G.
Inside you get 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 64 GB of fast UFS 2.1 storage, or a 3,300 mAh battery with fast Dash Charge charging. It also includes a rear fingerprint sensor, a 3.5 mm audio jack, or the popular OxygenOS software layer.
A quality Sony camera setup
On the back you’ll find the main 16 MPx Sony IMX 398 sensor together with a secondary 20 MPx Sony IMX 376K. The phone can also produce great bokeh shots and 4K video at 30 fps.
The front camera sits on the top edge of the smartphone and has a 16 MPx quality—it’s a Sony IMX 371 sensor.
Compact dimensions and as light as a feather
What could attract people to this smartphone most of all is its compactness, especially compared to today’s devices that are often like slabs. The dimensions are 156.1 x 75 x 7.25 mm and the weight is only 165 grams.
