Prague, March 25, 2025: TCL introduces four new TV series under the C designation. All TCL TVs from the new C series will be equipped with QD-Mini LED technology, delivering premium picture quality even in more affordable models. Thanks to that, more households than ever before will be able to enjoy a top-tier Mini LED experience.

TVs from the C6K, C7K, C8K and C9K series can boast the 7th generation of QD-Mini LED technology, AiPQ processors, and high refresh rates. Plus, they come with new HVA panels with the All Domain Halo Control system, which delivers deeper contrast in every scene.

A new generation of picture quality

TCL’s new C-series TVs bring advanced QD-Mini LED technology to a wider audience than ever before. Traditional LED TVs often struggle with contrast and brightness issues due to the limitations of simpler backlighting. However, QD-Mini LED technology enables precise light control, delivers brighter highlights and deeper blacks—ensuring a more realistic image.

With Condensed Micro Lens and a Powerful Light-emitting Chip, the C series achieves higher brightness at lower power consumption. The result is more uniform backlighting and sharper contrast—all at a competitive price. At the same time, Mini LED technology minimizes common issues seen in other backlight types, such as halo effects or uneven illumination, so every shot looks crisp and detailed. Whether you’re watching an action movie or a dark thriller, precise local dimming creates a realistic picture with balanced depth and contrast.

At the heart of the C series’ high performance are TCL AiPQ processors, which enhance sharpness, brightness, and color balance in real time. Intelligent scene recognition dynamically adjusts contrast, delivering brighter highlights while preserving details in darker parts of the image. The processor also improves motion clarity—something you’ll especially appreciate when watching sports, where even fast scenes stay sharp and smooth.

All C-series TVs run on the Google TV™ operating system, offering easy access to streaming services, apps, voice control, and a wide range of customization options.

TCL C-series lineup: premium picture, more accessible for more homes

C6K: More affordable QD-Mini LED TVs

TCL C6K brings premium features to a wider range of customers and is an ideal choice for families upgrading from older LCD TVs—seeking a reliable home setup with modern features. Available in sizes from 50 to 98 inches.

The C6K model brings Mini LED technology at an affordable price, with up to 512 dimming zones (98″ model) for precise backlight control—supported by the new HVA panel to deliver truly high contrast and deep black. With support for Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+, the TV automatically adapts to the surrounding lighting so the picture is always optimally set.

A high native refresh rate and the 144Hz Motion Clarity Pro technology ensure smooth, blur-free viewing even during fast sports broadcasts, movies, or gaming. For gamers, there’s the Game Master bundle with FreeSync Premium Pro support and more features that guarantee fast response and smooth performance.

C7K: Better sound and better picture

One step up is the TCL C7K series, offering higher brightness, better sound, and more precise backlight control. Available in sizes from 50 up to the stunning 115 inches.

The number of dimming zones is increased up to 2880, and HDR Premium 3000 technology delivers richer contrast and a higher maximum brightness. The innovative CrystGlow HVA panel (available in sizes 55 to 115 inches) minimizes glare, so the image stays sharp and vivid even in brightly lit rooms.

The C7K series also delivers better sound—models from 55 to 98 inches come with premium audio equipment from Danish masters Bang & Olufsen, providing rich, immersive sound for an authentic movie and gaming experience.

C8K Series: Brilliant QD-Mini LED home cinema

For those looking for an even more intense viewing experience, the TCL C8K series brings another level of picture quality and gaming performance. Available in sizes from 65 to 98 inches.

The number of dimming zones on the C8K goes up to 3840 (98″ version), delivering even more precise backlight control, higher contrast, and brightness. The CrystGlow WHVA panel reduces reflections and widens viewing angles, so the picture keeps its quality even when viewed from the side. The native 144 Hz refresh rate is complemented by 288Hz Game Accelerator technology, taking gaming performance to a whole new level.

Sound is also impressive—C8K series models are equipped with the Audio by Bang & Olufsen audio system, delivering rich, immersive sound that’s ideal for movies and demanding gaming scenes.

C9K: A showcase of QD-Mini LED innovations

Just below the top of TCL’s Mini LED lineup—recently unveiled X11K series—you’ll find the C9K series: the ideal choice for AV enthusiasts seeking top-tier brightness, precise backlight control, and advanced AI image processing. Available in sizes from 65 to 85 inches.

With up to 5148 dimming zones and a maximum brightness of up to 6500 nits, the C9K offers realistic contrast and precise lighting that no competitor in this class can match.

C9K models are equipped with the TCL AiPQ Pro processor, which intelligently adjusts picture quality in real time—optimizing brightness, sharpness, and depth for the most realistic visual experience. As with the C8K series, you’ll also find the CrystGlow WHVA panel here, which minimizes glare while ensuring deep contrast and wide viewing angles.

Gamers and sports fans will appreciate the native refresh rate of 144 Hz and the Game Master bundle, including the 288Hz Game Accelerator, which ensures smooth motion and low latency for fast response and smooth gameplay.

The audio performance matches the picture quality—the Audio by Bang & Olufsen system delivers rich, realistic sound that pulls you right into the action. With the stunning image and sound, the C9K model together with the X11K model is the top of TCL’s innovations in the QD-Mini LED category.
