The Honor brand is bringing a brand-new smartphone lineup called Power, and the first model unveiled is Honor Power. It is the first “unbreakable” smartphone on the market with a giant battery with a capacity of up to 8000 mAh. The manufacturer promises up to six years of battery life thanks to a third-generation battery with silicon-carbon technology. The device is mainly aimed at those who need maximum endurance without frequent recharging and a stable connection even in demanding conditions.
Specs & features
The display has a 6.78-inch diagonal and it’s an FHD+ AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2700 × 1224 pixels. The device offers high-frequency 3840 Hz PWM dimming, which reduces eye strain, a hardware blue-light filter, and support for the DCI-P3 color gamut in HDR content as well. Smooth performance is handled by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 together with the Adreno graphics core, which is more than enough for everyday and demanding tasks.
The operating system is the latest Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0. Honor also went for modern connectivity: there’s no shortage of 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, dual-band Wi‑Fi, and a USB-C port. For fans of cutting-edge solutions, there’s also the HonorC1+ chip, which ensures stable connectivity even in environments with weak signal. Safety is handled by a fingerprint sensor under the display.
The camera setup is fairly simple, but it’s enough for non-demanding users. On the back you’ll find a 50 MP main sensor with an f/1.95 aperture, plus a secondary 5 MP ultra-wide lens. The front camera is 16 MP and sits in the center of the top display cutout.
The battery is the biggest advantage of this device. With a capacity of 8000 mAh, it’s a record value in the segment of regular smartphones. The manufacturer promises up to 66 W fast charging, so even such a large battery will be ready quickly for more hours of use.
Design & dimensions
The device weighs 209 grams and measures 163.7 × 76.7 × 8.2 mm. It’s surprisingly compact for a smartphone with this battery capacity. It feels quite comfortable in hand thanks to well-designed ergonomics.
Honor Power will appeal mainly to those looking for a reliable phone with top-tier battery life, the ability to communicate even in challenging conditions, and an excellent display for multimedia. It’s a device focused on functionality and practical use—not just marketing numbers.
