Everything we know about the OPPO Find X9s Pro right before launch: a compact flagship that looks awesome

9. April 2026 4 min read 0 comments

Just before the official unveiling, scheduled for April 21, several very reliable leaks about the upcoming OPPO Find X9s Pro hit the internet. The new model should be a direct answer to competing compact flagship smartphones, and according to what we’ve heard, it will be one of the most interesting devices in this category in 2026. Multiple sources agree especially on the design, color options, camera features, and the hardware base—so we already have a pretty clear idea of what OPPO is preparing.

Four bold colors and premium build quality

At first glance, OPPO stays true to the elegant design language of the Find X9 series. The back features a flat panel with a rectangular camera module and a minimalist brand logo near the bottom. On the front, you can expect very thin bezels around the display and a subtle punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. A big draw is also the fact that it will be a more compact device with a 6.32-inch display size, which is still quite rare among today’s top models.

Render leaks show the manufacturer is preparing up to four color variants, which should stand out more than the rest of the lineup. You can look forward to shades of orange / green / white-titanium / purple, and some sources also mention marketing names like Wind Chaser Green or Vibrant Orange. Weight should stay at a very pleasant 198 grams, which is an excellent figure considering the huge battery.

The display should come with a Tianma U9 Pro AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, LTPO technology, and up to 144 Hz refresh rate. That means extremely smooth animations, while also being energy-efficient when showing static content. Slim bezels will further emphasize the device’s premium look.

A pair of 200 MP sensors? This is going to be a photography phone

The biggest highlight is clearly the photographic setup. OPPO has already officially teased that the Find X9s Pro will get a 200 MP main camera and a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens. The periscope should offer 2.8× optical zoom / 65 mm equivalent, but even more interesting is the report about a selectable Hasselblad teleconverter that will push zoom capabilities even further.

The lineup will be rounded out by a 50 MP ultra-wide sensor, and of course there’s also Hasselblad color tuning, which has long proven itself on OPPO flagships. If these specs hold up in real-world use, it could end up being one of the best compact camera phones of the year.

Dimensity 9500, Android 16 and a huge 7025 mAh battery

Performance will be handled by a brand-new MediaTek Dimensity 9500, which also appeared in the first benchmark results. In Geekbench, it scored very strong numbers: 3463 points single-core and 10 174 points multi-core, placing it among the absolute top tier of the Android market. The tested unit had 16 GB RAM and Android 16 with ColorOS 16 on top.

The battery capacity is up to 7025 mAh, which is frankly brutal for a compact smartphone. Charging also shouldn’t be slow at all—expect 80 W wired and 50 W wireless charging. If OPPO manages the optimization well, this model could become a battery-life record-holder in the premium compact segment.

In terms of specs so far, it looks like OPPO is aiming at users who want more compact dimensions without compromises. The powerful chip / extreme battery / top-tier display, plus a camera setup featuring a pair of 200 MP sensors, make this new release one of the most highly anticipated Android smartphones of spring.
