OnePlus Nord 6 vs. Redmi Note 15 Pro+: more than double the performance

Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is among the best-selling phones in the mid-range, and in Europe it launched with an official starting price of 480 €. In AnTuTu v11 benchmark, the OnePlus Nord 6 reaches 2.33× the score of Redmi Note 15 Pro+. The biggest difference is in graphics performance, where the Nord 6 is roughly four times faster — which you’ll appreciate first when gaming. Plus, it has faster LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, while the Redmi has to make do with LPDDR4X and slower UFS 2.2.

It’s fair to say that Redmi has its own strengths. It offers a 200 MP main camera, faster 100 W charging, and eSIM support—and with a coupon from the EU warehouse, you can get it a bit cheaper. However, if you mainly care about gaming performance, a smoother display, and battery life, the OnePlus Nord 6 gives you noticeably more for a small premium. The benchmark results come from tests by GSMArena and Beebom.

Durable build and top-notch protection

OnePlus Nord 6 delivers above-standard durability that you don’t often see in this class. Certifications IP66, IP68, and IP69K guarantee protection against dust, water, and high-pressure jets. There’s also the military standard MIL-STD-810H, confirming resistance to extreme conditions.

The display is protected by Crystal Guard technology, which—according to the manufacturer—offers up to 300% better scratch resistance and significantly higher drop durability. In practice, that means less stress during everyday use, whether it’s carrying it in your pocket or accidental drops.

165 Hz AMOLED display for maximum smoothness

The front is dominated by a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and an ultra-high refresh rate up to 165 Hz. It’s one of the highest values on the market, which you’ll especially appreciate when playing supported games.

The display reaches up to 1800 nits brightness, supports 10-bit colors, and offers 3840 Hz PWM dimming technology that reduces eye fatigue. Combined with high resolution and a density of 450 ppi, this is a panel that’s ideal for multimedia and everyday use.

Snapdragon 8s Gen 4: Performance without compromise

At the heart of the device is the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, delivering flagship-level performance even for the most demanding apps. Combined with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, the phone achieves extremely fast system responsiveness and high benchmark scores.

The manufacturer also targets gamers, since OnePlus Nord 6 can handle stable 165 FPS in games like PUBG or Call of Duty Mobile. Advanced cooling and performance optimization help prevent overheating.

A massive 7500 mAh battery and 80 W fast charging

One of the biggest advantages is the 7500 mAh battery. It easily handles more than two days of normal use, which is well above the average for today’s smartphones.

You get 80 W SuperVOOC fast charging, which can deliver power for several hours of use in just a few minutes. There’s also reverse charging, so you can top up, for example, your earbuds or other accessories.

Camera with Sony LYTIA sensor

The main 50 MP camera uses the Sony LYTIA sensor with optical image stabilization. The result is sharp shots with natural colors even in worse lighting. It’s complemented by an 8 MP ultra-wide lens and a 32 MP “selfie” camera.

Also supported is 4K video at 60 FPS along with various modes, including night or portrait. The camera is optimized for social media, so the results are ready to share instantly.

Connectivity and modern technologies

OnePlus Nord 6 is also on point when it comes to connectivity. It supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, 5G networks, and NFC. There’s also a new Wi-Fi chip, which improves signal stability and reduces latency in games. What’s slightly disappointing is the lack of native eSIM functionality, but we have a solution for that too. Just use this handy eSIM adapter.

The OxygenOS 16 system built on Android 16 delivers a smooth interface and long-term software support. The manufacturer promises up to 6 years of security updates and 4 Android OS updates, which is a big plus for long-term use.
