Chinese electronics manufacturer, Skyworth, has officially unveiled its very first gaming monitor with an OLED display. So let’s take a look at the key features of this 48-inch monitor, priced at 7499 ¥ for pre-sale, or roughly 967 €. Keep in mind this price is only for the first interested customers in China. The final price will be significantly higher.
From the Skyworth lineup, you can get, for example, this monitor, which our partner Banggood has been selling for some time. You’ll also find a lot of positive reviews there.
Skyworth G90 impresses with both its design and its features
This new release, with a massive 48-inch display diagonal, comes in OLED type and offers 4K resolution. That means there are up to 8 million pixels on its panel—of course they light up as individual dots and there’s no backlight. Just imagine how an OLED panel works. Each individual display point can have a different brightness.
The display features a 120 Hz refresh rate with a minimum response time of 1 ms. Skyworth G90 is a monitor made for a professional level of PC gaming.
You’ll also appreciate support for a variable refresh rate. Every game will look extremely smooth, and your reactions during gaming can be used at nearly full potential.
A gaming monitor packed with various technologies
The newly presented Skyworth G90 gaming monitor also supports Dolby Vision and HDR at a high level, with breathtaking brightness and perfect blacks.
Thanks to its so-called full-screen design, you can be sure this new release will also look like a stylish addition to your room.
The manufacturer claims the screen-to-front ratio is at a fantastic level of 99 percent. The monitor stand looks very futuristic and is designed so that the screen can be rotated.
A great bonus is that the back side is enhanced with light elements that add to the atmosphere during dark-environment gaming sessions.
A price that will “wow” even the wealthier ones
Among the other built-in features, we should mention a pair of built-in Hi-Fi speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The new Skyworth G90 Gaming Monitor is available on the Jingdong website.
During the pre-sale, you can get it for the previously mentioned price of 7499 ¥, or roughly 967 €. However, the official price is set at a very high amount of 14999 ¥, which is about 1984 € after conversion.
