This is what it looks like in real life:
A bulky design
The ThundeRobot ZERO laptop has an interesting black-and-orange plastic body that looks quite massive, and its curves are typical of gaming laptops. The device dimensions are 360 x 286 x 37.9 mm, and the weight is a solid 2.58 kilograms, so this laptop will be heavier for everyday carrying.
As for the IPS display, it’s 16 inches with a resolution of QHD (2 560 x 1 600 pixels). What will impress you about this display is a 165Hz refresh rate, just like a proper gaming laptop should have. The aspect ratio is then 16:10. Above the display there’s a basic 1-megapixel webcam for video calls.
Powerful CPU and crazy graphics card
A proper gaming laptop has to deliver high performance. Here it’s powered by the Intel Core i7-11800H processor. It’s an 10-nanometer 8-core processor that can reach a maximum frequency of up to 4.6 GHz.
The graphics card doesn’t fall behind either. The manufacturer equipped it with a very powerful NVIDIA RTX 3070 graphics card with its own 8GB of memory. There’s also 16 GB DDR4 RAM and a 512GB SSD drive. The operating system is Windows 10.
Great connectivity
The ThundeRobot ZERO laptop supports the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard and Bluetooth 5.0. The battery has a capacity of 63 Wh, but you shouldn’t expect miracles in terms of runtime. During gaming, its capacity will drop fast. After all, these machines aren’t meant to last long—they’re meant to provide an excellent gaming experience.
There’s also a backlit RGB keyboard, which includes various modes and is multi-colored. Customizing it is up to you. It also has a numeric keypad.
The left side of the device includes a USB-A 3.1 connector and a 3,5-millimeter audio jack. On the right side, you’ll find two more USB-A 3.1 ports. The rest of the ports are on the back. There you’ll get a MiniDisplay port 1,4, USB-C, an HDMI connector, a charging connector, and a port for connecting an Ethernet cable.
