Bakeey W5: Power-packed kids smart watch
The new smart watch Bakeey W5 is designed primarily for kids, which is also reflected in the colorful silicone strap design. The product dimensions are 248 x 40.8 x 16.2 millimeters (including the included strap).
Comfortable operation is ensured by a large, up to 1.54″ touch display with a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. There are also a pair of physical buttons, and even a pair of cameras (0.03 + 0.2 MPx). The integrated quad-core Spreadtrum chip with 4G support is complemented by 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
Among the additional features, you can highlight Wi‑Fi connectivity (80.11 b/g/n), GPS / Beidou connectivity, and the aforementioned 4G connection (TDD‑LTE: B38/39/40/41). The watch also supports step counting, Bluetooth 4.2 technology, and the Play Store with apps like Facebook and Whatsapp. Two-way calling is also included (thanks to the built-in microphone and speaker).
Corning Gorilla Glass and a 1080 mAh battery
The watch also thinks about protection. The display is covered with protective glass—Corning Gorilla Glass—and the manufacturer also planned enhanced water protection, though with unspecified specifications. A certain amount of moisture—like wearing it in the rain—should be fine, however.
Inside this watch, there’s a Li‑Ion battery pack with a total capacity of up to 1080 mAh. It’s even replaceable, and charging is done via a dedicated USB charger through a set of five pins on the back.
In addition to the kids watch itself Bakeey with a colorful silicone strap, the package also includes a charging cable and a short user manual in paper form.
