Digoo DG-TH8868: Weather station with humidity measuring and an outdoor unit
This time, the manufacturer Digoo opted for a matte black color finish that also fits nicely into your interior. The Digoo DG-TH8868 model measures 151.8 x 36.1 x 112.3 millimeters. The indoor unit has a stick-like but colorful LCD display with an angle that’s ideal for reading the data. It’s also complemented by a second outdoor unit powered by AAA batteries, which provides wireless data transmission.
This weather station lets you view the current weather status (Sunny, Partly cloudy, Cloudy, Rain, Storms, Snow), as well as the current Moon phase. It doesn’t miss an indoor and outdoor thermometer (from -30°C to 60°C) or a hygrometer (1% RH ~ 99% RH), a barometer with history (800 mB – 1100 mB), calendar, alarm clock and/or alerts with a “Snooze” function, plus low-battery warnings.
Power is handled by an integrated USB cable with a specific DC connector. However, if you need to carry your weather station, the alternative is a set of three standard AAA batteries (not included). Regarding range, the manufacturer states that the outdoor unit supports up to 30 meters, in open space.
In the retail package of this product, you’ll find the weather station itself named Digoo DG-TH8868, as well as original accessories directly from the manufacturer. These include the outdoor unit (these AAA batteries are not included) and a USB power cable, plus a brief user manual and the first device setup in English.
