Drillpro 21V Makita battery blower

The battery mount is designed for 18V Makita LXT series batteries, which are sold in every power-tool store in Slovakia and many people already have at home from their drill or lawn mower. The seller explicitly states that the B-series batteries fit, for example BL1830B, BL1840B, or BL1850B, including older BL1840 and BL1850, and they recommend a capacity from 2 to 5 Ah.

The cheaper G-series batteries won’t fit, such as BL1813G or BL1415G, which have a different shape, and older nickel accumulators also won’t work. If you’re planning to buy just the body, check the marking on the battery you already have at home so nothing surprises you after unboxing.

Wind speed of almost 150 km/h

The blower is powered by a brushed motor rated at 300 W, which spins up to 30,000 RPM, and from the nozzle it blows air at 41 m/s—almost 150 km/h. You adjust the power in 13 steps, so you can gently blow dust off a keyboard or a grill, and on the highest setting you can blow wet leaves off your terrace.

A brushed motor is simpler and cheaper than the brushless one found in more expensive blowers, and with a battery it usually performs a bit worse. The seller doesn’t state the runtime on a single charge, but for normal yard, garage, or car cleanup it should be enough—and if you’re working longer, you can swap two batteries from the set.

In winter, you’ll appreciate that you can blow fresh powder snow off the roof and car windows in just a few seconds without scratching the paint. Without a battery or with two batteries and a charger

The no-battery variant is worth it if you already have at least one Makita battery at home, because for less than €20 you’ll get another tool that will use it. If you don’t have any batteries, go for the set with two 21V / 3 Ah batteries and a charger. With a coupon, it comes to under €35, and you’ll be able to use the batteries later in other Drillpro or Makita power tools.

When ordering, also factor in symbolic shipping of around one euro, which Banggood adds to the price when shipping from the Czech warehouse. Since one customer received a package with a cracked nozzle, it’s worth checking the shipment right after receiving it.
