Compact dimensions and interesting specs
The Eachine EX5 drone ranks among the smaller and more compact drones. Its weight is only 229 g. The drone is foldable, which makes it easier to carry and store. When folded, it measures 85 x 140 x 57 mm, and when unfolded and ready to fly, it measures 290 x 249 x 57 mm.
The drone features a 4K camera that records video at 3840 x 2160 px at 25 fps. The lens has a 150° field of view, and there’s also 50x zoom. Power is handled by a high-quality brushless motor with a long lifespan. The maximum flight speed is 35 km/h, and the drone can also withstand wind.
It also supports GPS and GLONASS positioning systems, plus live HD image transmission to your smartphone, which you can mount in the remote controller.
Smart functions and other features
The Eachine EX5 also offers several interesting functions. Besides being able to hold its current position steadily, you’ll also find features like follow me, gesture-based photo and video capture, waypoint mode, or several filters and video effects.
The follow me mode is especially popular, in which the drone can track a selected object or person. In waypoint mode, you set several points that the drone then flies through automatically.
The battery has 7.4 V and 2200 mAh and should last for 30 minutes of flight. In the package, besides the drone, you’ll also find the remote controller, a USB charging cable, a screwdriver for attaching the propeller blades, and a user manual.
