Engwe LE20: 250 W electric motor and a third seat for a passenger
Engwe relies on a heavy-duty aluminum alloy frame of type 6061, sized 190 x 117 cm. The bike itself then weighs 36,8 kilograms (single-battery version), and its maximum load capacity is 200 kilograms.
Power is handled by a 250 W mid-drive electric motor, offering a maximum speed of 25 km/h. It also includes a torque sensor (torque measurement), a maximum torque of 100 Nm, and of course a seven-speed Shimano drivetrain and an LCD display.
LED lighting, 20″ tires and a brutal range
A big standout of this model is its spaciousness. It’s up to you whether you choose the version with a third seat for another passenger, or with a spot to carry a child seat or various goods—like a bag or a cage. Even the base version offers versatile use, with a gift textile case you can secure to the bike using straps.
The electric bike offers front suspension fork as well as 20″ x 3″ puncture-resistant tires, hydraulic disc brakes with a 180 mm rotor, and front and rear LED lighting, including turn signals. The integrated battery has a capacity of 19.2 Ah in the base version, with a range of about 180 km. A dual battery setup (2 x 19.2 Ah) increases the range up to about 350 km.
